I seem to recall you having a step through Honda at some stage. Did you make a trip on it at some stage?

What do you make of this one? And the price…

I think it's terrible David. All the disadvantages of a pickup and none of the advantages of a motorcycle.

You have to queue in traffic and get hot/cold/wet in the bargain.

I dislike all the motorcycle trike ideas. If you want to take up the same space on the road as a car but be unsheltered, have no lockable storage and be unable to filter through traffic, what's the point?

I assume you have guessed by now I'm not a fan.

Doubt it would cope with much of a load either.

Back in the 70s you could drive a 3-wheeler on a motorbike licence (you still can) which explained why trikes, Reliant Robins and the Bond Bug had some appeal.

I remember seeing a Bond Bug in about 1970 and I was absolutely fascinated by it. I waited ages for someone to come and drive it away but it didn't happen.

A friend had one when they were pretty fresh. His prior experience was on bikes. Corners were interesting…

One of the local older boys had one - his dad was quite well off and one of the older lads I knew to chat to said, I dunno the things people do to try to grab attention. I struggled not to laugh, he had a Lambretta with about 44 wing mirrors on it.

We never seem to see our own faults and failings when we are young. Good job I didn't have any.
