Personally I don't like this style. It makes a nice leg look like it belongs to Minnie Mouse.

Usually, people favour one code over the other and will argue the merits of the sport they follow over the other.  I keep telling Jack that League is a better game, but he still doesn't get it...

I'm going to be adult about this.

Union is the original, League stemmed from a breakaway around the turn of the last century. When Union was amateur and League was pro, League was the tougher game played by fitter (& probably harder) individuals. Since the advent of the professional era, Union and the people that play it, has come on in leaps and bounds, at least in terms of fitness.

I've been brought up on Union and will always think it's the better, more elegant sport. But I'm 47 now so each to their own.

This isn't really true. The Union authorities love to paint it that Union is the original game and that League is a perversion. The truth of the matter is that in 1895, the game played as Rugby was vastly different to either game played today (although Union does probably retain more of it's original features, but it's no means the same game at all).

The real truth of the matter is that the original rules of Rugby just weren't very good. That's why there are so many sports derived from them- Rugby League, Rugby Union, American Football and Canadian Football have all evolved from the original Rugby rules, but modified them substantially.

Why does hard man Phil need to fetch a baseball bat to deal with Christian who is gay.

Now I know that Christian is a big lad, (No jokes please) but he is a bit of a girl. (I was going to say batting for the other side but I thought it might be too confusing).

So it's not even a photo of that scene, he's basically photoshopped his original photo to take bits out.

It doesn't matter if he's gay or not in a homophobic sense, but I would imagine a bloke with a girl's type of outlook would, by and large, be easier to intimidate.
