Question for people who intentionally watch Eastenders, (and for poor schmucks like  me who are forced to watch it).


Why does hard man Phil need to fetch a baseball bat to deal with Christian who is gay.

Now I know that Christian is a big lad, (No jokes please) but he is a bit of a girl. (I was going to say batting for the other side but I thought it might be too confusing).

Don't watch it (thankfully) but isn't Phil knocking on a bit now and if the other fella is a big lad who looks after himself surely it doesn't matter if he's gay or not?

It doesn't matter if he's gay or not in a homophobic sense, but I would imagine a bloke with a girl's type of outlook would, by and large, be easier to intimidate.

And don't give me that "I don't watch it" crap. Your much too well informed.

My perception of the post was that it was perhaps an unfair stereotype of gays Red, the sort of sterotype that you might understandably not be so happy about if it was about Gypsies.

Well yes, I did try to extract a little humour at the expense of a ridiculously scripted storyline from a ridiculous soap.
