Remember this Andrew? Back in those days, you only used your super-powers for the good of the planet.

Ooh, the "special room" @ Grosvenor Walsall!
nice pic of Tom and Bobalike but........
Ramaza Abbassi. Now this guy I could share a table with all day. He cracks me up with his voice/accent and I'm sure ain't every bodies cup of tea but I really like him. He won't have a clue about ICM or ever have put anyone on a range of hands ( other than saying "you must have aces or kings my friend") but he has been round the block and still cashed and finals to this day.

+1 Jason

That particular final, first hand (I think) I ran pocket 10s into his Aces. Lost half my stack but managed to rebuild.

Birds must not live anywhere near us.  I've 3 different feeders hanging up high off a clothes line.  One for peanuts, the other has seed and the last has 2 fat balls in it.  Not a single bird calls to them and I can't figure out why.  Do they only eat caviare, steak and lobster around here?!

The feeders/food has to be available constantly for several weeks before they get regular traffic Dawn, and it helps if you hang them close to a hedge or a thick shrub so that the birds don't have to stray too far from cover to feed.

Birds are very wary of exposing themselves to cats or sparrow hawks etc. They need to feel safe.

There's no hedge or thick shrub in our garden (blank canvass atm), but the neighbour has one about 10 feet away from our feeders on the other side of the fence.  It peaks over the fence a bit and that's where they flew in from in the summer when I ripped the lawn up.  I was having proper chats with one little blackbird each day as it dug worms back then, but now...nothing.  Granted, we've just put the feeders back up this week-end so I'll give it a while before getting cross.

10 feet from cover is much too far to start with. Try to get it within a yard if you can Dawn.

American Disambiguation: When I say 'Within a yard', I mean 3ft, not 'Within a garden'

Don't get me started on yard vs garden.  It's the same thing ffs!

Anyway, will move them around a bit and get them closer to that shrub line.  They'll have the added bonus of being closer to the kitchen window too.  Result!  Well, result if the birds ever turn up.

Did you cook the fat balls yourself, Dawn? Just asking, like.

No chance.  Jack doesn't complain, but the birds?  Know yer limits and all that...

This is the problem when you try to sort out your pictures. You stumble across one of a gorgeous blonde and you stare at it for hours.

He was either an oompa loompa with Charlie or a munchkin with Dorothy.

I saw this picture of my local town centre. ~ 100 years later, I tried to stand in the same spot and take another one.

I've been wondering.

Why is it that as soon as anyone posts about any form of degeneracy, we're all on it like a car bonnet?

A post that includes details of excessive Betting, boozing, brawling, bonking etc, (Especially the posters own) gets more hits than the Beatles. The worse there behaviour is, the more we like it.

Then, when we've all revelled in someone else's debauchery for as long as possible, (sometimes even egging them on if necessary), we don't rip into them for being an idiot, we start dishing out sympathy and sage advice about clean living & bankroll management.

Why do we do it? Is it a kind of wanton voyeurism, tempered by pangs of empathy or something?
