Turf arriving today!!!
Sooooo, how long before it actually sets into the ground?
It will get it's roots in very quickly, like, within a few days, but they will be so thin at first (Like spider silk) you will hardly be able to see them.
When you lay it, just make sure you don't leave any hollows underneath where it doesn't touch the soil. (Like where you've been kneeling)
Water it a lot, and then water it some more.
Keep off it until you have to go on to cut it.

And lay it green side up. No need to thank me.

We managed it...green side up and all.
We've 10 or 11sq metres left (still in rolls) free to a good home if anyone wants it.

We stripped it down last summer, but never got around to doing anything with it before the winter. Last week we hired a rototiller and stripped it down again....

They've a nest in the tall conifers at the front of the house with babies to feed. It was an all you can eat buffet around here for a few days...

I seem to me finding a myxy rabbit or two every time I go out these days. Today was no exception.
Horrible horrible fucking disease. Fancy spreading this on purpose.

sorry for my ignorance
I see a lot around my area
on purpose?
I thought it was as a result of indiscriminate breeding within families etc etc
