We've also got plenty of snow, so much so I decided it safer that I work from home today.

My working at home mainly consists of sitting by the patio doors with my camera watching the birds. Obv I also have my laptop at hand for important work blonde stuff.

Here is a snap from approx 17mins ago of my second favourite visitor I have in the garden. The first is Robbie the Robin who hasn't made an appearance yet today.

Not a good time to be a bird. This weather will kill off about 50% of the population.

I just chauffeured Mrs Red to the doctors surgery for her appointment. As we were driving the news reader on the radio said, "Depressing weather brings more misery."

Eh? Has he had a look outside? It's beautiful.

People in this country are conditioned to think that sunshine is the only nice weather.

Subtle, eh?

Couldnt agree more Tom

My wife is having to attend a Senior Management Team meeting in Birmingham today (and the entire SMT are travelling from all over the country)

You would imagine that with all that brain power floating around, someone might have suggested post-poning and maybe held a conference call instead.

People lose their minds in the snow too! I just cancelled an inspection tomorrow, my client sound surprised that I couldnt go ahead with a roof inspection with "just a bit of snow". After 10 seconds of trying to be "nice" about it, I just told him, it wasnt getting there, it was not being able to see the roof for inspection that might be the problem!

Who would have thought a bit of snow would make people go so barmy!

While revving van heater hot, but while idling van heater cold. Engine temp constant and normal.

My guess - Slipping impeller.

Will investigate when I get home.

Quite correct Guy. In this weather people should only leave home for really important things. Like poker or going to the chip shop.

Haha

Despite what I said above, I have no problem with people being out and about, but for easily rearranged meetings or otherwise, I baffled!

Also - people should take their brains with them!

Well look who decided to make an appearance. It seems to be stood on the frozen drinking bowl.

Must admit his front profile is a bit shabby.

Great pics Milly, and a fine example of how useful frozen drinking bowls can be.
