I'm playing the Multi Prizepool @ DTD today .

Which is better, or is there even a difference between:

Playing for £100 on my own dime.

Selling 50% and playing for £200.

I think the answer to this depends on runners in each field,
. Yes. One Person came 26th I believe and still cashed the big prize pool

I would suspect playing on your own dime as the prizepools have been bigger in the smaller buy in pots than the largest buy in pot.
As Guy says mathematically it depends on the numbers in the pool. So far mpp has been weighted towards local player on a lower budget as they have been played on a Thursday evening. Of course as its the weekend maybe more will play the bigger prizepool.

So say there are 300 runners.

100 £50
50 £100
50 £200.

There are 199 runners remaining. 198 £50 players, and one £200 player. Has the £200 player cashed?

Don't think haggling is permitted, Tom.

Lol. No wonder I can't work it out.

100 £50
50 £100
50 £200.

There are 99 runners remaining. 98 £50 players, and one £200 player. Has the £200 player cashed?

Tom

You need to think about it differently

As a £200 player you essentially enter 3 tournaments

There are 3 prizepools, which you play towards

But would the £200 player know that he had cashed?

Yes,players have cards to show which pools they're in. TD will keep players informed near the bubble, and there are the screens as well that I believe show each pool separately.

I knew there was a more than fair chance I'd be putting my foot in it when I made that post.

Great pic Rio.

Bearing in mind it's taken through double glazed patio doors, I think it turned out ok.

(Although it was cleaned up a little in Lightroom.)
