This girl divides our family.

Well, I say that, we all love her & Mrs Red hates her. But then she never did have good taste. (With certain exceptions of course.)

God bless you for the A+.

Am trying to write better, take some time to phrase stuff better, but mostly I miss the spot, the harder I try, the more forced it appears.

Am really keen to write a bit of a book, but I have such a limited vocab and range. The idea would be to disappear for 6 or 12 months and really focus on it, I have so much in my head that I want to write about. You would not believe the highs and lows, the variety, the dilemmas I get into. Tomorrow, I am doing something really fantastic, but for job reasons, I cannot discuss it whilst I am still working. Friday, I have a perfect pile of shit to sort. Ditto. So much stuff  I cannot discuss in real time.

Five different folks I am - was - on good terms with fell out with me in the last week, for Sky or blonde reasons. Go figure. Sitting on my little fence of private peace is the hardest thing ever.

Damn you Tom, you made me ramble again.

PS - the supposed book (another on the huge Bucket List) is not intended as a commercial thing, it is just for me, really. Just a weird urge. If I actually put my mind to it, I will do it, you know how obsessed I get.
You must know you got mad writing skillz, Tony!

'Books are like dogs, too, you can trust them. They just sit there, forever, waiting, & you can't offend them.'

But please, when you do write your wonderful book, get some help with the title 'cos this one sucks

'Tom's Tales.'

'A man's love affair with animals, birds, nature, & folk.'

Conjures up a Morris dancing, cardi wearing, Greensleeves singing old weirdo.

That Tracy Chapman album is stunning.  Used to be big in prisons.

Mrs Red ITT.  Hiya!   Smiley  What music do you like?  When you're on a long car journey, who gets to pick the music?

PS Afraid I'm with the rest of your family on the Chapman thing.

On this issue, but no doubt not many others, Mrs Red is incorrect. First album was brilliant

I will go now before I pollute a superior diary with unusual musical taste. Such as REO Speedwagon

No I mustn't. there is you tube evidence.

I have a weakness for American AOR such as Toto, Chicago, REO, Foreigner

Quite unexpected really, but there you go

Mrs Red: "I like everybody" (She's referring to singers now)

Me: No you don't.

Mrs R: Who don't I like?

Me: Steve Harley singing Mr Soft.

Mrs R: Yes, (Ponting finger at me) but I like songs!

That's a weird fact! Why is that, do you know?

All Gypsy kids had this album on tape, it was like a cult thing, the charts at the time (early nineties) was indie/dance stuff but everyone I knew had this, Bob Marley, Dr Hook, Gregory Isaac and the Drifters greatest hits! Grin
Even now I know its still doing the rounds because my 13 year old has it on her ipod, and she wasn't influenced by me.
And she hasn't been to prison!
