Disappointed to lack oomph or zing.
My update at the weekend had more oomph and zing that hundreds of comparables on any site. Genuinely creative
Self advert over.
To be fair, I compared you to a "highly intelligent, very unusual man, with a great vocab range".
Which you ignored in the style of a female, who, when we say "
your hat, frock & gloves look lovely, Dear
", they retort "so
so what is wrong with my shoes then?"

Mrs Red.
If I may make so bold, that Post of yours was, & I do not say this lightly, the best Post I've ever seen on this particular Diary, & you have single-handedly improved it.
You should start a Diary.
You need a little guidance with your musical tastes, but I'm always happy to help.
Don't suppose you have a thing about concrete, do you? If so, I can shepherd you to a better place.
I'd also add that your musical preferences suggest a certain era, which surprised me, as I had you down as being in your late thirties.
xx
I had her down as being born in the late thirties, and even that was optimistic.
Yeah, and I have you both down for 'The Lawns' (a care home in Burbage)
Me and Tom was talking about "The Lawns" last week, i owned a health club there, still there i believe, Tom will go peeping as its a ladys only health club!!!

OMG Dreenie! What's a nice girl like you doing in a thread like this?
It's so nice of you to visit.
Yes I like Adele, she's so talented. One of the few modern superstars that can justify becoming so big so quickly.
The way that hype and publicity can make mediocre acts into mega stars overnight amazes me. Take that boy band 'One Direction' for instance. A couple of average singers, no songwriters, no musicians. How can they become world famous in about a fortnight ffs!
Please come and see me again Dreenie, I promise not to go off on one next time.

Yes, totally agree with you. I don't like the xfactor anymore for this reason, it seems so manufactured, excluding the likes of Leona Lewis and Ella Henderson.
I love adele, think her music is great, so meaningful, and really well written lyrics. A lot of people think she is a very depressing artist, but if u have ever seen her DVDs, or interviews, she actually has a really good personality. I also like the fact that she is not media hungry and always seems to be in the press/mags for the right reasons.
Very disappointed she has now had a baby, I hope she comes back soon, I guess everyone needs to start a family at some point... Oh wait ...
Lol, doubt ill have children now, 30 now and the clock is ticking, still haven't met the right one, although he would probably need the patience of a saint to put up with me
Take care, see u again up Dtd one day soon hopefully - be lucky, if u can't be lucky, be good

I very much dislike Adele as a musician, she's enough to put anyone that's going through a break up on suicide watch. She may well have a nice personality, be a positive person etc etc, but none of that shows in her music, 95%+ of her songs are about the same subject, zzzzzzzzz, miserable bitch.

I'm just glad Emili Sande is about now. Was getting sick of hearing Adele songs on the wireless.

Yes mondatoo, her most recent album '21' was about her relationship
, but I bet if u did a survey to 1000 women, the majority would have been able to 'feel' the lyrics of her songs. It's all about 'feeling' the music, not just 'hearing' it..

Yeah she's great too, again very good lyrics, IMO, the most inspirational song of 2012 of hers is :
