What a wonderful idea.
Tell him - or her, or them - that I hope they'll have an absolute ball. In fact I'm sure they will.
I'm slightly puzzled by the Online Poker part of the equation. Poker is incredibly addictive, & I hope that poker does not get in the way of the more varied & interesting pursuits we generally engage in whilst on holiday. Has he become a bit poker-fixated as of late? Anyone who spends more than, say, 3 or 4 hours per day playing, watching or discussing poker, & tries to do that every day, needs to take a good look at themslves imo. I could never get myself in such a state, of course.
Where in Europe does he plan to go?

Funnily enough, he himself might at one time have worried about becoming poker fixated, but has in fact discovered that he can take it or leave it. A fact borne out by his regular short, and occasional long periods of abstinence.
No. this is purely a convenience thing.
My friend and his wife tend to expend vast amounts of energy when on holiday. Not for them the 'lazy days by the pool' type break, they like to be seeing and doing.
Alas, Mrs Friend is now getting a bit long in the tooth, so with a full day of hard vaccinationing behind her and a good dinner inside her, she prone to joining Hypnos and Morpheus for a
ménage à trois
asap.
Mr Friend however, is not yet ready to go softly into that good night, and likes to spend an hour or two perusing a good book, or by way of variety, knocking it in at da pokaz innit.

That's what happens when you quote from memory at my age.
I stand corrected.
My thanks to you and my apologies to Mr Thomas.

Well it was the age of innocence, so long as you didn't get up close and personal.
I have no idea what you're on about really. I'm just fascinated by dangerous minds and what lies beneath.

I know that Cambridge Alex plays in this country on pokerstars.fr so maybe you can play on that site in other european countries. At least you know that site should be unlikely to nip off with his deposit.

Thanks for bringing my diary back on track Mr H. Some people are so prone to waffle....
Anyhoo...
Spain was kinda at the forefront of my deliberations, but I guess the principle is the same.

I am not going outdoors to start some of the chores that I should have finished by now.
I have my phone with me, so I will still be on call for emergency waffling.

Note to Team Waffle Stuff, Art and Bollox.
He probably meant now not not. *
* See how badly that reads without commas? When in Rome and all that. It'll do for this place.
