Beats me Rod. I don't think I've seen it before.
Was a new one to me, but it makes sense from a health point of view and from an aesthetics view as it's one of the tups they will be selling.

Flowers and weeds from today's walk.
I love how the ivy exploits the crack in the post.

Inspired by your plant pictures, and the recent wet, warm weather bringing the orchids out...

Heath Spotted Orchid (I think)

and the
Common Spotted Orchid.
Early Marsh Orchid.
Quite chuffed to have seen them.
Looking back to check the names of the orchids (my memory is getting even worse) & I see I made a rick of naming them.... Can't edit so renamed here.

Was giving people a chance, but the pubs opening might have cut the dairy readers this weekend
It was the ram equivalent of braces for his horns. At the bottom of the horns they were growing in towards the jaws - left long enough they would affect the ability to chew & could eventually cause a long slow painful death.
Because they are pedigree tups, they are sold on, so removing the horns would affect the price. The spring hoop will give enough push as the horns continue to grow that they move out and grow right, meaning the tup looks fine when it comes to sales time.

I was interested in these but I probably don't meet the criteria.

Is it just me or does everyone else not know what day it is?
I think coronavirus has ripped a hole in the space-time continuum.

Thankfully I've been at work for the most part so I still have a reasonable understanding of what a weekend is.
For a few weeks whilst it was quite though and we had nobody else working it all kind of blended in to one.
Very surreal

Why is automated call answering technology so incredibly bad?
"We are currently experiencing higher than normal call volumes"
What? Every time I ring, day or night it's the same, so surely that's normal isn't it?
Why is the audio such poor quality? Just an almost inaudible scratchy voice with every third or forth word blanked out?
"You are

queue.
She same goes for the music. A few strangled bars of The Four Seasons interspersed with "Your ..ll is ..luable to us, please cont.... to hold. Vivaldi must be spinning in his grave.
Of course if you don't have the time to wait for a customer service operative, you can always contact them on line. Just go to their web page, type in all your personal details, create an account, think of a password, log in, and then choose from the following options, none of which pertain to your enquiry.
Still you can always console yourself by answering the following question with the most vicious 'NO' tick you can muster.

I was listening to a thing on the wireless about parrots suddenly saying things they had never said before.
This one bloke told us about a parrot he'd had for donkeys years that one day just keeled over and lay motionless at the bottom of it's cage.
The bloke took it out and laid it on the table. Noticing that it was still breathing he poured a spot of brandy into those little nostril-hole things on the top of it's beak.
The parrot opened it's eyes, raised it's head a couple of inches off the table and in a thin reedy voice said, "Thank you" before promptly expiring.
Is it just me or is anyone else filling up?

I wonder if it was a sarcastic thank you?
