BTW, don't take viewing advice from Tony, he refuses to watch Back to the Future because, "It sounds crap".

Why should the air-fryer get special treatment?
Because it's greasy Ralph. We've agreed that the greasy stuff has to be washed.
Why is it so greasy that it needs a soak Tom? I haven't got one but I thought the whole point of one was that they only need a teeny weeny yellow...oh sorry I meant not much oil?

Now I was cool, but every time I looked at the trees I was staring directly into the sun.

It was terrible. I felt like I was trying to trim a Messerschmitt. (A little WWII fighter pilot joke there for those of you old enough to remember).
Surely a Fokker by this point....

Everyone uses them for chips and frozen stuff Shaz, as I did last night with breaded chicken fillets. What most people don't know is that they also do a fabulous job of raw meats. I don't add grease but they produce their own fat.
I did some chicken thighs in it the other day. Just like proper fried chicken but the grease was left in the pan.
Try one for sausages or burgers. You'll never go back.

cut a potato into wedges/chips sprinkle with salt and pop them in with a teaspoon of oil. Amazing.
Sausages could be what an air fryer was designed for.
Will have to try chicken thighs. Do you coat them with anything first?

No, straight in with the skin on. Full power until they are brown and crispy.

These are great David, and cheap as, well, you know what. Cook direct from frozen.

And if anyone is considering buying an air fryer, decide what size you want, then buy a bigger one.

Tea and sympathy
Had a couple of plants, similar to Yucca (also part of the asparagus family) did the exact same thing this year. So frustrating after years of lovely foliage.
Backs tho, tweaked mine last Tuesday. Get this kind of spasm about every 2 years on average and seems to happen irrespective of whether im exerting myself or doing something quite innocuous. Agonising but normally goes within a few days to a couple of weeks. Today is the first day I'm nearly right again but I know it's only a matter of time - do feel sorry for my wife when this happens as I go from completely stoic when she's not around to moaning like a baby when she is. Anyway, massive sympathy from me on this - totally know the feeling and glad your feeling better

Thanks Glen.
In the absence of family these messages of sympathy mean a lot.
I've been pretty stoic myself while I've been alone but I did a couple of moans a minute ago, just for you.

While we're on the subject of being alone, here's a little trick I learned in the special forces for shaving your neck after cutting your own hair.
Perfect for when you have no oppo in your basha.
