I could have had an aneurysm at the irony of Ian Duncan Smith campaigning about gang violence in Glasgow
I'm sorry Rod, but LAMAOOOOO!!!!!
A bit lost at that Tom. I explained why it annoys me.
Maybe just the thought of you having a aneurysm tickles him.
- it's a real danger though - the article made a vein in my forehead throb in anger.

No bother Tom - the tories and what they did to Scotland really can kill my sense of humour at times.

The GUKPT at Walsall is just terrific. The place is really buzzing, It's like the old "Festival" atmosphere of a couple of years ago. I
Kudos to Mr Raab, what a wonderful job he's done. It must be fantastic for him to see all his hard work come to fruition.
The £200 and the £300 both had 140+ runners, I played them both and I bust out fairly early in the first one and ran deep in the second but alas, no cigar.
I really want to play the main event, but I shouldn't really. I didn't get a touch in the first two, and I'm always banging on about good bankroll management, so I should practice what I preach. There is also a lovely fessie at the Broadway next week, and I want to play some of that.
I'm not going to do a tourney report as such, but there are one or two incidents I want to tell you about.

First, an easy quiz. A drink on me the next time we meet for the first person with the correct answer.
GUKPT £200, early on day one.
Blinds 150/300. Mad Turk raises for 1200, Matey boy re- raises all in. Turk, who has about 3k behind, calls.
On their backs. Matey has a pair, Turk has two overs.
Name the hands. (Suits not important).
