I'll put them on a hosting site tomorrow.
I'd pester Bongo about it but he's away the weekend.

Some of the words you translated seem very similar to Indian. pani = water being one of them

Did anyone see Brian Blessed on 'Have I got news for you' last night?
I've never had much time for him really. I always saw him as shouty and a bit dim, but I've changed my mind. He had Merton, Hislop, me, the cast, crew and audience in hysterics.
It was the funniest thing I've seen in ages.

Tom, don't let age be a barrier to Minnie Driver. A 16-year old Minnie succumbed to the charms of Jack Nicholson.
Did he screw driver?
Yes he did.
Sadly for you Kinboshi, she doesn't take a Philips.
brilliant - post of the, er, day!

Have you heard a cuckoo yet this year?
There's a cuckoo calling away like mad right outside my window but I'll be damned if I can see him.
I first heard him about 3 weeks ago, I remember because I turned my silver (although I'm not superstitious) He was just warming up back then, but he's in full flow now.
He reminded me of a little rhyme that someone taught me when I was a kid.
The cuckoo comes in April
He sings his song in May
Then in June he'll change his tune
In July he'll fly away.

Reminded me straight away of the Simon & Garfunkel classic, April Come She Will. Maybe that's where the inspiration for this song came from ?
April come she will
When streams are ripe and swelled with rain;
May, she will stay,
Resting in my arms again.
June, she'll change her tune,
In restless walks she'll prowl the night;
July, she will fly
And give no warning to her flight.
August, die she must,
The autumn winds blow chilly and cold;
September I'll remember
A love once new has now grown old.

Many sincere congrats on a Century of Pages to this absolutely priceless Diary Tom - thank you. This is my first port-of-call when I open blonde, & it has remained a happy place - exactly what I need on blonde.
Here's to the next 100.

Here's to the next 100.
Thank you.
Writing, (for me at least) doesn't come easy. I look at your diary, and I see l well reserched, entertaining, often bitingly funy articles.
These are usually consecutive entries, posted within the space of an hour or two. I know that you have just rattled them off one after the other, probably while you were multi-tabling, or asleep.
I love to write. I feel compelled to do it. I don't mind if it takes me an age to say someting that someone else would just jot down without a moment's thought. I enjoy life more when I write about it.
But, (and yes I
can
start a sentence with the word 'But', because I've seen Bill Bryson do it) as I'm sure Tony will agree, it all becomes a little flat without the feedback.
So post a question, or a comment, (good or bad) it's what keeps me going.

You express in writing the things I think, so often.
I wish there were more blonde diaries.
