Will bring the tins.  You'll have to open yer mind a bit for this one Tom.

So far, I'm bringing these items to the bash:

2 tins of salmon
pretty number for the Duke to wear during footy (with matching hand bag)
extra bras (to be worn together) acting as sports bra...for the footy.
maracas for Claw.  Can't remember why
handcuffs (if I can find the keys)  Again, can't remember why.

I sooooooooo don't want security opening the bag this time!

".....I thought Blacking Brush was going to have a fit. He made a noise like a klaxon, and his bowler hat actually flew several inches into the air. He had to grab it by the brim and pull it back down....."

Why does that remind me of the drumnmer in one of the early Gorillaz Videos? (That's a sort of cartoon pop-group, Tom.....)

Tom, you are back to your Peggy Shitter Story-Writing best - the detail in that Grinding Story is amongst the best you've ever wroted. Writed-ed. Writted. Even "stub of a pencil" evokes the imagination, the picture in the mind.

Lovely, lovely, writing. It must have taken hours of honing.

There you go, 49 seconds in.

Lol. No, it wasn't like that. His hat shot up, and two small jets of steam came out of his ears. It was as if there had been a small explosion inside his head

Is the heron a member of the buzzard family then ?

I've only ever seen a few Herons close up, "in the flesh". Always near water, on golf courses, & once at Tom's place.

Driving down the M1 today (for the third time today, sigh....) a heron crossed the M1 - flying very low. I thought they'd keep away from such areas.

Was it carrying a sign saying 'Don't forget your laptop numpty?'

I musta watched that Vid 500 times, first on MTV/VHS/TheBox or whatever, then I bought it. I love all their stuff. I don't know the background, but I think the band are really Blur?

it's Damon Albarn from Blur and Jamie Hewlett the only cartoonist I know, who did Tankgirl, a cartoon character I'd have had a crush on if she was real.

Thank you, Tighty too.

TankGirl? I dont think I want to know.

Noodle is my favourite. I assume 2-D is Damon, yes? I see Murdoch as a sort of Slash - him formerly (where now?) from Guns 'N Roses.
