I really fancy playing some live poker, but I'm too hot to move.
What's on tonight anyway? I know there's a £100 at Luton...

Is there? On a Saturday night? Sunday evening, yes, but I'm surprised about that one Tom. Did Mrs Red tell you that?

Does anyone else not know what day it is most of the time, or is it just me?

You're not wrong there.
And this was a 4 day working week in Scotland, some bizarre bank holiday..so it indeed doesn't feel like a Saturday

After reading the "Aliens do exist" thread last night, I looked up at the moon and thought about the fact that we have been there. I mean actually landed on it.
Wow!!! It's almost unimaginable when you really think about it. What a fantastic concept. How could anyone plan and execute such a thing, and how brave were those guys sitting on the end of that rocket?

I will just say this. If it was proved that the moon landings were all a hoax, it wouldn't surprise me. It's such an amazing thing to do that I have trouble believing it.

Roy Brindley, who dashed home from Vegas during the WSOP (he withdrew from the WSOP Main Event with 3 minutes to spare, & no "he should have withdrawn earlier" jokes please) because Mags had just gone into labour, told me if the baby were to be a boy, they were going to call it Bodie. Bodie Brindley!

I don't know that one, but I know the Z-Cars theme tune. I don't know Bodie & Doyle, either, but I recall Ironside, Perry Mason, & Dixon of Dock Green. ("Evening all").
