Oooh! If I chose one of those two I can watch the game and then chat about it on here. Very tempiing.
Is it on Sky Sports? I don't have Sky Sports.

Tom, I urge you to go and watch Robs team Eastwood Town ... ok you wont ever see them on the telly box, but you wont meet a more dedicated and diverse set of fans at any league club ... non league fans are the salt of the earth and you will find more characters among those fans than at any league club.

If you join Party poker via the sheffield utd website, you get entry to a Football fans poker freeroll.
You can win a slice of $100, and there's no entry fee.

Ooooh! They have a forum, and a "News and Features" page.
Mixed feelings for Cox as season starts....

Yet again the people in the office think I'm slightly deranged - sitting at my computer and laughing out loud.

Although I obviously hate Sheff Wed they have my favourite chant....
We're Wednesday we're barmy we're off our f***ing heads!
I'm disappointed Leeds arent in contention, but think the best way to pick is where your from or where you were brought up. Most people support the first club they go and see! As you havent been to a game yet, fancy going to Leeds Vs Palace in the cup tomorrow?
PS - When you pick your team the most important thing is you 'hate' all the local teams around yours and Man Utd.

I didn't say Leeds were not in contention, I just wanted to know why everyone hates them?

In the 70's leeds had a sucessful team but they played dirty football. This mixed with a set of fans that used to smash places up resulted in a bad name. Its not like this anymore but unfortunatly the act of few has ruined the reputation of many. Pick Leeds you wont regret it! Horneris is a big leeds fan but dont let that put you off!

Do yerself a favour and forget football. Go for Rugby. Munster to be exact. Great team, great fans and they can be seen on the telly.

Celtic obviously Red - always the despised outsider, great loyalty to your fellow Celt, on TV a lot (even in Englandshire) in the Champions League.
Also the Celtic Rangers game is the only major football match in Britain not to have riot police deployed as a matter of course - we're better behaved than the rest too

I would avoid scottish teams and go for a League One team, same level of football and the opportunity to move up to a higher level. Something you wont get north of the boarder!

It loses a lot in the telling. You should have been there when it happened. I actually wee'd myself a little bit, but Billy never did see the funny side.
Even now, whenever I see him he always gives me a scowl that says "Don't you dare start laghing again about that ferret biting my tit"
I have to turn away and stuff several layers of jersey into my mouth. I'm sure one day he's going t punch me.
