No. Missed it FFS!
I did see one of the most amazing, thought provoking and visually arresting programmes I have ever seen though. "Wild China" on BBC4.
See if you can find it on BBC iplayer, it's stunning.

Yes Tom it followed Batman, I'd seen it before (it's a repeat series) but watched it again happily.

Yes I watched it, it was interesting to watch the show with my wife who has no idea about 'Pits' or 'Mining Community's' that were so effected by the Tory government in the 80's. It was a real eye opener for her, it just shows you so many people putting in the effort and work to help out in those area's. The man who created that small farm and allotment was a star, people like him should be getting the Knighthoods. Still thought he was a tight Yorkshire git though and could have given more!

Aaaargh. Anything is better than nowt surely? I remember visiting a family who had won a substantial sum on the lottery and were over the moon. One week later they were complaining that they hadn't won as much as the people in the current week had and were considering making a formal complaint.. No pleasing some people!
I love secret millionaire.

Yes I get your point, but I think it's shortsighted to give someone X amount and leave them to it. I think the person a couple of episodes ago who went to Moss Side, planned a budget for them for the following years and gave them X amount each year for the next 5, he was getting involved and offering work experience to the young people at that school who passed their exams. Easy to chuck money at something, but as the chap eluded to last night its what happens after that both for him and the charities that's the most important.

If you were a celebrity, would you, for a fee, advertise or endorse something you didn't really believe in? You know the sort of thing, slimming aids, life insurance etc.

Yes and no
Slimming aids just don't work, but balanced diets and exercise do, so if anything says it's a miricle aid, no, but as long as it says it helps as part of a calorie controlled diet, and exercise, then yes.
Life insurance is actually a good idea if you haven't got a big lump tucked away, then a small monthly outgoing that is affordable is some kind of safety net.
As a general rule, I wouldn't have to use the product myself, as long as it's likely to be some use to someone.

We had a visitor to Chez Red today.
He rang me up, no faffing about, "I'll call in if you're not busy"
He brought a bone for Kizzy, polo's for the horses, and gossip for the girls.
He drank tea, ate buns, used the loo, & drank more tea.
He can come again.
