The Big Bang Machine. The story of the super collider. Did anyone see it?

It made my head hurt.

I did, I love BBC4.

It's eye-opening isn't it that there are hundreds of millions of galaxies and our sun is one star in one of them

It's absolutely astounding Ralph.

You know, in amongst all the celebrity crap, there's some fantastic TV out there.

Tom

when Tikay went to Vegas this your for the WSOP he listed some of his likes and dislikes of Vegas and then spoke about how things had changed for him.

Id be interested in hearing your expectations of your trip to Vegas. What you expect to see both on and off the table and then you could revisit it after the trip.

I think it will be a sort of bright lights city and I imagine there will be thousands of pretty women out there all with a sort of "Devil may care" attitude.

I suppose it's the sort of place that makes you wish that there was more than 24 hours in a day, what with all the blackjack and poker and the roulette wheel and a fortune won and lost on every deal.

The neon flashing and one armbandits crashing etc, all those hopes down the drain. Night turns to daytime and day turns to nighttime, I bet if you see it once, you'll never be the same again.

I know everyone is different, but I plan keep on the run and have me some fun if it costs me my very last dime, then if I wind up broke up well I'll always remember that I had a swinging time.

I don't know why, but that's how I imagine it.

Am I allowed to have The Owls as my second team?

I think you should have the Owls as your first team, its where your from and makes more sense than supporting Leeds because people hate them!  It would be great for you to meet the old man and that can happen regardless of football teams some time in the future.  I think it would be brilliant for him to meet a hard working honest Gypsy, then again I would totally understand if you didnt fancy it!  Anyway I'm getting ahead of myself!  I am sure I will see you some day at DTD if i can get my lazy arse into gear and get down to a Freezeout and we can have a proper chat.

Yes, I watched it.

Did you see the programme that was on before it - Lost Horizons? Kind of a history of the big bang theory - watch it on iPlayer.

Both on the BBC?  I have some iplayer watching to do...

BBC4 is worth the licence fee on its own.

However, 20 years ago, all these programmes would have been on BBC2 and more people would have stumbled across them.

Can someone bring me up to speed please.

What colour are we?

Where abouts are we in the first division?

Who is our manager?

Who are our best and worst players?

Blue and white stripes

just stayed up last year. Early days this

Club is short of dosh, lots of boardroom problems over last few years

Brian Laws, ex Forest fullback, is the manager

Leon Clarke, Marcus Tudgay. Generally squad short of star quality (http://www.sheffieldwednesday-mad.co.uk/footydb/loadpsqd.asp), mid table fodder at best. the likes of Jeffers and Watson have played top level football, though are past their prime.

Hillsborough is gorgeous though http://www.footballgroundguide.com/wednes.htm
