just gotta a call from the vets and he died about 20 minutes ago,
I'm terribly sorry to hear that Mike. All things considered, if he died peacefully, perhaps it was for the best.

I would just like to post this in defence of my driving.
When I was younger and travelling about with a group of friends I also had my parents with their trailer to move about. Dad wouldn't or couldn't drive and so, being an only child, the job fell to me.
Now if the group moved say a hundred miles or so, my trip was three hundred miles. First moving one trailer and then going back for the other.
If I didn't get there in a reasonable time the ones already there would have their pick of the best areas to work so it was important to me to get the two trailers moved asap.

Die hard? They must be immortal. It's 30 years since you've had to shift two trailers, and you still drive like a maniac.
