Nice result Tom.

Just to let you know Billie is in fine form, she is getting her 2nd jab next week so we can take her out soon.  She comes when called (whistled to be exact) and for the most part is well behaved.  Really looking forward to taking her out for long walks as she is full of energy at the moment which is to be expected.

PS thanks for your help esspecially with the recommendation of John Homes book, its made the whole process much easier.

Say hello to my two latest great nieces, Grace, and Ellie-May, born a week apart.

These are my mam and dad's 21st and 22nd great grand children, and their 48th and 49th direct decentands.

PS- Scuse my chewy.

You know not to walk her too far while she's very young don't you?

You have to be careful with large breed dogs at a young age because they can develop all kinds of joint problems if over exercised too soon.

No more than 15 - 20 minutes at a time for the first few months I'm afraid. Best to speak to a vet about this to be safe.

Aw bless 'em.

I'm expecting my first niece in about a month so I'm really looking forward to that. My sister only lives over the road so I'll get to see her loads.

She's almost settled on a name now. Coincidentally she was going to be Ellie-May for a while.

Even more coincidentally she's now going to be Sadie.

Looks like my sister has the same taste in names as the family McCready

My mam can, and the birthdays. My dad just uses the same two or three names for all of them.

Yes mate only planing on 15mins in the morning and 15 mins at night until she is 4 months then increasing, I will find taking her out in the morning much easier than trying to tire her out playing with her at 6.30!

I used to find that the most tiring thing with Ronnie was 10 minutes of sit, stay, down training. He'd be absolutely knackered after that.

Might be worth trying in the evenings.

I put a bird feeder up a few days ago, business was slow for a while, but now the customers are beginning to roll in.

So far we've had a pair of blue tits, a great tit, and a greenfinch that I haven't managed to photograph (Yet)

A blackbird who sings for his supper..

A robin who spends more time guarding the food from his rival than he does eating...

And my favorite, a little flock of long-tailed tits. I love these lairy, noisy little bundles of energy. They come screaming in like a squadron of spitfires, do a quick raid, and then they're off, flying fast and low, hedge hopping to avoid the radar.
