How many little robins grow up together in the nest?  Nothing to do with them pecking each when small?  Pheasants are terrible for it...

Unless it's had a real bad fight with another Robin - getting towards territory marking time & they're vicious with eachother....

bump. I have a riddle for you red. Iv been puttng out these suet bird seed balls for while lately, on a first floor window ledge for the various tits etc to nibble on in the cold months. Recently, the balls have started dissappearing and i cannot find out whats happening to them. I checked below the window and the havent been dislodged and fallen. They weigh quite a bit for their size as they are quite compact, probably as much as one of those rice-filled juggling balls. wtf is taking them???

A wee pic for you Red, the wee pup has grown up, still not reliable to return Sad - but gets about fine with a long lead. She's very obedient indoors & a real bundle of fun.

She stopped runnning about long enough for Ma Paradise to get this shot.

I bet the pigeons are knocking them off the window ledge. Then, if they land on a hard surface and shatter, the birds would quickly clear them up, and if they land soft and stay whole, old Reynard will have them away.

I like her, she has a good face. Nice dark "Honest" eyes and a well defined stop. (Never buy a dog with light brown or yellowish eyes)
