BREAKING NEWS
It was a slow start for The Bomber, but Thomas Nolan is doing his very best to catch up on the lagers.
Currently on 11,500 (chips that is, not pints)

A cool looking Mick Stephens (pictured below) is down to 7,425. He just folded to a 3k bet from Sean O'Sullivan on a Td-4d-3s-Qd-5s board, the latter showing 5d as he scooped the pot.

This might be one of those "Yep, it's just me" moments, but can anyone else see the likeness. And no, I'm not taking the Mick!

Here's Sideshow Bob having just popped out a kidney stone. Okay, that's a fib, it's when he got knocked out of the comp. The floor remains kidney stone free.

After a slow start in which it took almost four 45 minute levels to lose one player, they're now dropping like lemmings on a tightrope, the latest player to lose balance being Seamus Birt, his A-K on a 2-K-Q-9-8 board in all kinds of trouble against Sean O'Sullivan's Pocket Cowboys. Yeeeeehaaaaaa

Pat Storm and Gary Power have also been spotted around the rail, which either means they have super human players which mean they can move their chips and cards without being at their seat or, possibly more likely, they are out.

Recently spotted in sniper mode is the wonderfully named Chris Frisby, who just threw Aiden O'Hara out of the room, when the latter found himself all-in with 6s-5s against Kh-Tc on a 4s-Ts-2c. The 5c Turn created more outs than a cricket match, but none of them arrived when the River dealt out the Kc.

That exit means we are now down to...
players.
Hmm, not sure anyone will get that, it's a bit flakey.

With the Flop reading 5s 8h 4c, once chip daddy Carl O'Connell pushes all-in for around 10k, leaving a tortured Davvy O'Sullivan with a decision for both his 4.5k in chips and his entire tournament life. As Carl peers down at the felt, his stare frostier than a snowman in the freezer, Davvy unzips the think tank and jumps in. After a few moments, he pops his head back out, trickles his chips over the line and reveals Pocket Tens, his breath held whilst he awaits his opponent to flip over his cards. To his relief, Carl shows an inferior 6s-4s and Davvy is allowed to exhale the deep breath that he'd been holding. The 8c Turn was a constructive one for Davvy, his opponent's outs reduced to just a Four, and as the dealer popped out a harmless Kc on the River, he gently tapped the table in triumph and plonked himself back down in his seat. Karl, meanwhile, wore a face like a smacked bottom, or perhaps one who's fingers had been crunched in the poker cookie jar. Game on!

Pat Storan
Chuckle Brothers
It's like the two chuckle brothers stepped into those pods in the Fly and out popped Pat. I wonder if he's a good a gymnast as Jeff Goldblum was. I certainly won't be challenging him to an arm wrestle (although I promise you the guns would give him a run for his money).

Popular player John Quinn, who I believe cashed in both the Irish Open last year and November's blondepoker.com Waterford Autumn Festival, has just bitten dust on Table Bomber. All-in with
-7s on a
board, John was in need of full house to conquer Pat Keneally's
, the
Turn and
River providing no divine assistance.
