thought you was going to say he then calls with Aces... that would be worthy of some harm.

If the rough counts are correct, and Nicholas Marshall does have 1.2 million with 500k or so shared between the rest. The blinds being 6k/12k with a 1k ante, so 25k in before each hand, is it close for Marshall to basically start shoving most hands if it's folded to him?
Anyone care to do the math(s)?

Anyone with a stack that large should at least IMO build something creative rather than an anonymous spread of 20's.
I would suggest a scale model of the MGMGrand or the Eiffel tower.....

Pete Charalombos moves in for 156k. Swedish Dave Gorman Andreas Andersson moves in behind him, Garinder Purewal thinks for ages from the small blind and passes Queens.
Pete shows
, Swedish Dave has
.
is the board and Garinder is more happy than most. Pete onto 300k, Swedish Dave Gorman down to just 60k.
This 60k goes in next hand with Q-T against Nicholas Marshall's K-J, the board comes out J-Q-Q-x-x and our lone Scandie gets back up to 120k.

Mickey Wernick Doubles up
Mega stacked Nick Marshall raises pre to 40k ... which he does every hand...
Mickey raises to 120k leaving about 700k behind
Nick insta calls and flips
Mickey reveals two red aces
no miracles and Mickey Doubles through to around 380k

Good luck Mickey 'Internet Player' Wernick!
He may be seen as more of an old school live player by most, but he's a highly accomplished online player too, putting in at least 30 hours a week unless he's away on tour. Last week he took down a $50,000 guaranteed freezeout. A couple of years ago he has qualified online for the World Series and he has also won his way into various other live events. He joked last week that he's almost more of an internet player than a live player these days. Still needs help turning on the computer though...
