I did and he had KK which I certainly didnt expect, I was more worried about JJ or TT, so with 3 potencial better hands beating me I still call?

Colddeckaments!
I don't think you ever pass here, and its hard to put him on KK the way the hand plays out. I can't believe that he doesn't raise pre, its at these early stages of the tournament when players can get in cheaply that big hand get turned over.

Yeah you can't be folding full houses, Suzanne. KK is indeed unexpected ..limping with it from mid positiong is just about criminal I think.
It's harsh but if someone has a better full house that's just unlucky. You can't doubt yourself over something like this. when you have a full house in holdem you are very rarely behind.

You have to also consider what you're ahead of that he might play the same way, not just what you're losing to. He could easily have KT, KJ, AQ, even AK, as well as the case 3. Then consider that there are 16 possible combinations that he can have just of AQ - but only 9 possible combinations that he can hold of TT/JJ/KK combined. (And you have to discount the likelihood of them, as he didn't raise preflop). So even excluding the real possibility that he's an idiot doing this with nothing, you're miles and miles ahead of his range of legitimate hands. Unlucky!

You have bet for information, the guy has told you he has a close to nut hand, you must now pass the non-nut hand.

nothing to say about his way to play after the flop, but IMO it's many more criminal to limp with KK with a dude who limps before him...

Surely with this you will have to play the hand based on how you read the player?
When all is said and done you do not have the nuts, just close, and how many times do you need to hear - always look at what could beat you not what you have.
A house is a fine hand, just remember that it is beatable.
That said mind you can't fold everything all the time because it might be beat or you'll actually turn into a rock lol

Why is there no point to the thread?
I cant believe im actually agreeing with Flushy here.
He was flat calling all the way so I have no idea if I am ahead, his allin on the river suggests he has a better hand, it was very early in the tourney so im also thinking that he could have been trying to steal the pot with the range of hands that Moskvich pointed out.
The reason I posted is because given the same circumstances I would probably do the same again given that I no information on the table and there was no reraise. I think if he had reraised me on the river I might have folded as alarm bells were ringing very loud, the allin seemed a bit desperate.
So far we have
Call Fold On the fence
Boldie Flushy Bhoywonder
GlasgowBandit Jpean
Newportlad Grey Pete
Moskvich
and Alex Martin..was there any point in your post!!
I very nearly folded..does that mean im nearly a rock?
