Can I ask a stupid question that I probably should have asked a while ago, I'm guessing it's ok to just turn up with ID and join the casino on the day?

I am a member of Grosvenor in Cardiff (due to Blonde Bash) but I'm guessing that doesn't count for Blackpool aswell.

Just take the card with you that you got in Cardiff, they will take your membership from that. Make sure you have ID as well though.

Yes easier if you can, will be a lot quicker when you get there, but still take ID with you, online registration not enough on its own..

Yes - register.  It takes 2 minutes.

Then when you turn up on the day, you have to register all over again as they can't find your details on the system.

If you've got a Grosvenor membership card you should be able to just hand that over and tell them you've not been to that particular casino before and they'll add it to your card- takes about 30 seconds. better take id anyway though in case they're being awkward and definitely leave some time as there'll be loads of people needing to join.

player briefing says trainers are ok, is this a lie?

There's always people wearing trainers in places where they say no trainers.

have always worn shoes as it always says no trainers but like you have always seen people in trainers, I know if i tried getting in with trainers i'd be the unlucky 1 who they didnt let in,after all 90% of the time yr feet are under the table anyway so why does it matter??

Exactly.  It's hardly the end of the world not being able to wear trainers.  Although they are better than sandals and white socks (unless you're Greg Raymer as he's cool).

I really wouldnt worry about footwear. When i was there last month the dress code was a joke. Chavtastic was the way forward.

I honestly saw a bloke with trainers, white socks, shorts and a scruffy t-shirt.
