Which award did you win?

The pair of you look great (okay I'm being kind about one of you) and I'm glad you had such a great time. What a lovely company to work for though eh?

A small amount of staff have to remain behind - there are always some who don't wish to go - those that have been before - new starters (joined in the last month). These people receive £100 instead.

Last year I was unable to go due to staff shortage on nights and while the £100 was much appreciated having attended this year I know which I would choose given the chance every time - The Event.

I didn't win an award (my award is having Roxanne here with me and having stable employment) having won employee of the month in June I was a candidate for employee of the year, this was won by a young Italian lad working in the restaurant, and he very much deserved to win.

The front of house manager won the Manager of the Year and as she is my direct boss I look upon this as a team award (she is only as good as the team make her) and thats reward enough for me  Smiley

Only been here a few days, but this was the view from my front door a couple of days ago, leaving here tomorrow to another island.

The flipper accent has got to be one of the most comedy ever, it's basically not possible to at least smile when hearing it, it's very pleasing on the ear. The hospitality I have been shown so far has been fantastic from the local friends I have made so far. Have just come back from a night on the hoy with a bunch of locals at the vidoeke around the corner from where I am staying.
