With a fairly hefty pot already, Michael Hill bets 5k on a two hearts board. Priyan De Mel takes a while before calling.

River - and Michael checks. Priyan bets 6k. Some dwelling, some clock-calling and Mr Hill calls. And indeed Priyan is the king of the Hill - he turns over for the absolute nuts, and Michael mucks.

Disaster for entertaining Scandie and also Mr Gordon Macarthur; then afterwards for Alexandra Jackson

There is a flop; it is and Mr Henning Granstad bets 2.5k. Gordon Macarthur promptly goes all in for around 5.5k. Dara O'Kearny promptly goes all in for 13k. Henning has around 13k. "Wow," he says.

--------Dwelling---------

"Wow," says Henning.

--------Dwelling---------

"I'm getting way too good a price," says Henning, and calls.

Henning -
Gordon -
Dara -

Turn -
River -

Dara O'Kearny scoops the lot, Mr Gordon Macarthur is OUT and Henning has 125 chips left. He's all in next hand on the big blind. He is looking at his hole cards and making the universal expression of "not bad". Meanwhile John Stamatelopoulos is raising and Alexandra Jackson is calling, and then finding herself all in on the 6-2-K flop.

Alexandra - A-K
John - T-K
Henning - J-6 and definitely still in with a chance

Turn - Ten - ouch
River - Ten - OUCH

So Mr Henning Granstad is officially OUT, and Ms Alexandra Jackson is down to 175, presumed now OUT.

OMG Priyan, what a lucky feeeeshhh

James Akenhead on fire, had a sick month pokerwise, and playing very well. He missed the 10am train this morning from Kings Cross (by around 5 secs literally doors in face) and went on tilt saying he's not coming now and how the train conductor that wouldnt open the doors was a **** **** **** etc but after some presuading from me and Praz he got the later train for an extra £15 (used to be a train driver, hes got moves son)

googgogogogogogogogogo (please dont say hes out, after this long bok post)

Good news for you sir!

James Akenhead, J McBride and Ian Fraser get it all-in on a flop. (Ian Fraser had just almost trebled up calling all-in preflop with against Kevin O'Leary's Sixes and Ken Wong's Sevens. A six hit but so did the flush)

Anyway:

James: for the current nuts.

J McBride: for the nut flush draw.

Ian Fraser: , "Err, guess I need a Queen then."

No sweat for James, and I don't even catch the river since it's needless anyway. James then points out who his favouritest dealer in the whole world is.

LOL Skaliements...

Stephen Bayliff raises, Paul Johnstone moves all-in and Skalie re-raises to isolate. Bayliff folds.

Skalie:

Johnstone:

Board:

Incidentally Henning Granstad was telling me about a funny hand he played against Skalie last night in the 5/5 game. Henning raises preflop with 75s, and gets lots of callers. The board comes K-6-4 and everyone checks. Henning bets £150 on the T turn (which brings a second flush draw) and Skalie raises another 200. Henning thinks he can only be doing this on a draw and decides to call knowing that if the flush doesn't come, he'll win the pot. The river is an Ace, Henning moves in and Skalie folds his 8-7 face up. Now just imagine the glee as the Norwegian shows his 7-5...

Mr Maldini, on around 22k
Rob Taylor, 27k
James Akenhead - a whopping 70k or so after that vast pot
Dewi and Liam Flood, still in their original seats, still largely with their original stacks - Dewi 10k, Liam around 7.5k

Some people I know are OUT

JJ Hazan

Evidence - Phil from AWOP had his player card; Hawaiian shirt nowhere to be seen. Here's one I made earlier:

Niall O'Gribin

Evidence - Niall spotted in cash game; Niall's player card spotted in ashtray:

Rob Taylor is doing even better now, he's on 35k. "First time I've had a good run in one of these..."

Karl Mahrenholz is looking more chipper now that he's just been all-in with A-8 against Q-Q and hit two 8's. (Also note the AWOP guys looking like they're extras in a TV soap)

Praz meanwhile has knocked out JJ Hazan to add another 5k or so to his stack. Antony Romanello needs some help to improve his 5.5k dirty stack though.

Roberto meanwhile is doing better, he's just knocked out the player to his left, calling for most his stack, saying, "I hate calling here, I  really don't like doing it..."

The board reads

Matey:

Roberto:

River:

Roberto gets lucky but isn't really smiling about it, despite winning, "I hate it, but I have so many outs..."

Dewi and Liam are like a pair of naughty schoolboys, can't stop giggling either of them. Interesting sidenote: Liam Flood has yet to showdown a single hand yet.

Now doubled up is Mr Paul Donaghey, with unbelievable shouting, standing on chair-ing, Soren Jensen-esque gesticulating etc.

The Hand:

Dara O'Kearny raises the small blind 2.4k; James Donaghey goes all in from the big blind another 7.3k or so. Call.

Dara -
Paul -

Board (at this point Mr Donaghey mounts the chair. As it were) -

The Grandstanding (note ever-professional dealer completely ignoring it all):

James Akenhead and Darren Clayton (obviously not out as earlier reported) get involved in a re-raised pot preflop.

Both check.

James bets 13.5k. Call from Clayton with only 20k behind.

Check check. Inexplicably, James' is good.

Clayton left with around 20k.

More posters please, there's no clear leader there yet!!!

Antoni Romanello and his wee shortstack are OUT - he ran his into the mighty of Shaf.

Board - two spades - and with much gentlemanly hand-shaking, Romanello A is no more. Sorry, Romanello fans, one down, one to go.

Roberto moves all-in for around 30k on top of Mick McCloskey's 3k bet on a board. Mick calls with Kings, Roberto shows three clubs. Two blanks and Mick is now the chip leader. Roberto is OUT.

Surely flat-calling and betting any turn if Mick checks would've been better?

Rob Taylor has temporarily shut-up the extrovert Paul Donaghey, calling a 5.5k bet on the turn of a three diamonds board before betting out 10k on the river. A think and a dwell, an attempt to get Rob to talk, who says, "I think I have the best hand..." Donaghey gives it up though.

Shaf is out after shoving 7-4 into Steven Bayliff's Aces and taking it well, by all accounts.

Steven, "Shake my hand mate."

Shaf, "F**k off you p***k."

Liam Flood is gone after pushing Sixes into David Allan's Kings.

And with that, we're just about done. Dana has dashed to the bar for bourbon, hopefully the chip counts will be not far behind. Looks like Mick McCloskey and James Akenhead will be vying with Pete Linton for the chip lead tomorrow. Full counts to follow later.

We'll be back with around 60 players tomorrow, restarting from 2pm.
