ok basically its the bubble of my local pub tourny, 33 runners and to 15 get paid, 16 left and i'm second in chips, chip leader is drunk mouthy guy thats going all in and just keeps on hitting so basically ive been keeping out of his way.
anyway it's my turn to go first and ive got  and the blindes are 1500/3000 and ive got 35,000 in chips and limp like im doing most pots cos i can basicaly outplay them on the flop.

anyway flop comes  Two Clubs, everyone else had folded and the bb was the chip leader so i bet 1500 and the bb calls.

turn comes  , i think my eyes nearly popped out my head, wow!!!!! so i go all in and bb calls instantly?Huh???

basically he turns over  three clubs!!!!!!!

the river comes  , i just couldnt believe it, lucky idiot, i was out on the bubble.

the people i was talking to that night all said i played the hand wrong and that basicaly with the nuts on the turn i should be checking it to make sure ive got the nuts on the river and then if i havnt i can fold.

did i play it wrong

Even knowing it was a level didn't stop me tilting when hero pushes the turn for over 30k.

the people you were talking to are correct but as you didn't have the nuts on the turn their tactics are irrelevant. without the nuts you shoud be looking to check-fold the turn
