Simon Trumper just found Tikay with a story - he's down nearly 3k after flat calling a pre-flop raise from Jani Sointula with  .  The flop brought a Jack, and there were three successive bets which eventually saw Jani's hand as  , and Simon got away from it without doing any terrible damage to his stack.

When the blinds go up they announce it with a little jingle played over the tannoy system.  Very weird as the casino is otherwise musicless.  Anyway, the blinds are up.

Dedvilfish just had play stopped on his table whilst he was photographed being cuddled by 4 young "Babes". There's a novelty.

Tighty - Harry D says he has another Post to put up about a tough hand, he says we are NOT gonna like it. It really is GREAT to have Harry on board, though trying to teach Iron to play may be a bit much for even him.

Dave Finney has 14k. He's from Sutton Coldfield. I am SURE he used to be in Slade.

I befriended an American guy in the €800 on Sunday. He's David Gurevsky, & he has 8,200. We had quite a tussle on Sunday, & I really enjoyed his company.

Johan Storakers has 15,500, Tony G 8,800.

Stuart Fox has 8k.

Ram Vaswani 7k, Alan McLean 8k,Carlo 8k

I am just doing my live phone in to the 425 Sporrts Betting programme. Weird.

Joe Beevers OUT - Tikay managed to spot him at the bar just now despite being in the middle of the live phone-in.  Now THAT's multitasking.

In case I didn't mention how Nick Gibson's chips were suddenly looking so healthy -- they came from a steamer who lost his stack in two rapid-succession big pots.  After paying off a nut flush, the player found KK and Nick with AJ.  After the Ace came on the flop, Nick would not be moved off and collected around a 10k pot from his opponent.  He looks calm and is happily chatting away when the blonde workers file past with our notepads.

I also spotted Jon Shoreman, who finalled in the Limit yesterday. Also Tim & Pippa Flanders on adjacent tables.

And Ian McDonald from Notts. I'm not sure if Tristram, his son is here, he generally runs well in Amsterdam.

If he is watching, a big hi from loads & loads of us to Bob Coombes, we look forward to seeing you out & about soon Bob.

Cheer's Tikay, i'll be lurking as usual. Best of luck to everone.

Could you tell Keith that i will try and get up to see Jake in the next couple of weeks, also ask Simon to call me as soon as he is back in the UK.

I just did my Live Phone-In to the Channel 425 Sports Betting Show, I think it has the rather natty title "4/5" - 425, gerrit? Guests were Ronnie Oranni, the cricketer chappie, who's name I have mis-spelt, & John Hendrie, the Scottish footballer geezer. It was a bit difficult, to put it mildly, as it is SO noisy here, & I could not hear a word from their end. So I just blathered on for 4 or 5 minutes. as usual.

Talking of footballers, we have a certain Jan Molby playing here today. Think he used to play for Liverpool or someone, maybe even Wrexham. He's quite intelligent, as footballers go.

Poor Jen has not slept for 2 days, & she's just had a bowl of chips and fallen asleep over her keyboard. She worries me to death, there is not much of her, 6 stone wringing wet I'd say, and I do wish she'd take better care of herself. But you can't tell girlies anything, eh?

Hi At-It,

Blackpool? Yes, I hope so. Dave is hoping to play Tuesday to Friday, & me Wednesday to Friday, but we don't know if we will get seats, as it usually sells out early, & we are not back in the UK until Sunday. We cannot play the Main Event, as we are both going to Monte Carlo, Dave to play, & me to Live Update. Should be plenty of easy money in Blackpool, Ironside will be there from Thursday onwards.

Hi sixpac, message pased on to Mathilde & Simon, they both send hugs & kisses.

Simon finished yesterday in the 240 runner Omaha, an event he won last year when there were 230 runners. And he made 5th in the big Omaha comp at this years WSOP. If he practices, he could become half handy at Omaha. I keep telling him he has to use TWO cards from his hand, but he plays it like Hold'Em.......

Dave 'El' Blondie news - I miscounted his stack by one pale pink chip (5,000) as I drifted by just now.  That means he has over 27,000 and we will hopefully find out how he's been accumulating in the dinner break which is due in five minutes.
