Well I fired up the old Champ manager again last weekend. This weeks itinary has read, watching golf for 25 hours, playing poker 5 hours , playing champ manager about 50 hours.

Right, back to the grind, I need a defender to help Scunthorpe get away from the relegation places in Div 2. Mike Duff could be the man.

CM legend, that man. Stayed with me the whole time I took Cheltenham Town to the 2010 Champions League final.

FM 2008 all the way for me.

Just signed a Jamacian superstar for Hereford - turns out the fans weren't happy.

Bumpage of an old thread for a related topic...

I've played these games since CM2 when I was about 13 or 14 (including decent stints recently on 0102 with community researched updates).

Recently i have dabbled with building a couple of kids games on the Amazon Echo/Alexa, and decided to have a go at a voice controlled football management sim next.

Clearly nothing like the complexity of CM/FM right now, but as a hobbyist project (*cough* biased) i still think it's quite fun.

Anyway, it's not published yet as i think there are still a few issues to iron out. Therefore looking for a few people who own one of the Amazon speakers to give it a play through for me.

If you're keen please DM me the email associated with your Alexa account and I can trigger the beta app link.

Cheers!

Maybe lacking people in the Champ Man fan / Echo owner niche here then Smiley

Anyway, v1 of the game is publicly available now if anyone wants to check it out. Link below or just say "Enable Soccer Manager".

I remember from previous CM/FM threads. I even went back for a bit of CM0102 recently.
