A Few Good Men unquestionably a 10 out of 10er for me fwiw.

The Crow's 'no stunts, no CGI' line has to be bait but it did the trick.

Good to see most of the original cast back...the trilogy that paved the way for The Inbetweeners and its ilk...

Loved the first Scream, very clever at the time, but this sequel to another trilogy seems a bit desperate...

Is the Scream preview meant to make it look like a parody?

1st Scream film was the most scared I've ever been.

The Drew Barrymore opening was awesome, and the film itself a perfect mix of horror and comedy with great play on all the old horror cliches, trouble is the sequels fell flat and im looking forward to seeing what they do in the 4th but it really does look like a remake with the old characters coming back to probably get killed off...

Source Code is a good film. Certainly the best action film for a while.

About 20 minutes in I wondered how it would maintain its pace from re-showing the same 8 minutes over and over again but it does, and also makes you feel empathy with at least two of its main characters. Slick, clever and well directed. Jake Gyllenhal is very watchable too. Good in everything I find, espcially the much under-rated Zodiac, he's excellent here

What makes it a good film is that it doesn't dumb down to a series of set piece action sequences, it keeps a human element to what at heart is a tragic story.

Very good. Probably a see twice film

7.5 tighty stars out of 10

Drops a half point or more because it caters to a Hollywood ending rather than giving it the ending it deserved, in my opinion

Watched Buried earlier today. Was sceptical as to how good a film could be based entirely inside a box but I shouldn't have been. I really really enjoyed it. Probably wish I'd seen it in a cinema or at least in a room that I attempted to black out for full effect.
Opening scenes got me thinking and I don't think I could be more scared than if I woke up buried alive. The shock and actually having no idea what was going on or where you are would be terrifying.

Rented a couple of blu rays over the weekend.

Unstoppable, ok, was always expecting a twist that never came though.

Monsters, different, decent enough, good build up, then failed to really deliver, good for the budget though.

The Daily Mail caused a stir today by printing "Sucker Punch has rightly been hailed as one of the nastiest films of all time."

About to be released for the Easter holidays it has only a 12A certificate.

Made by The Watchmen and 300 director  Zack Snyder it is only suitable for 15 to 18 year olds

don't take your kids.

Hobo With A Shotgun - Hmm cheap and nasty, suppose thats what it was meant to be, but scenes of 8 year olds been burnt alive on a school bus by flamethrowing badguys...a bit too far imo...

The Other Guys - Better than I expected but fades in the 2nd half...
