Unstoppable - Wtf? how on earth is this getting rave reviews, dull...cliched predictable Hollywood crap of the highest order, has a massive tense finish when the train just......................STOPS! this has now taken over the most overrated film award of all time from The Dark Knight, quite simply stunned.

Saw The Town a couple of weeks ago, we'll worth a watch.  Made me grab the other film he made/wrote with his brother in (couple of years old now I guess) but I can't remember the name off the top of my head.

Pretty sure Gone Baby Gone is what you are on about. AMAZING!

Yeah that's the one, really good film.

Was talking to Hopkin about this film last night and he said it was pretty good.

You might be able to avoid a downswong for a bit longer.

Anyone seen "Wanted" a 2008 film.

Its a copy of The Matrix ,as an office worker is told he is the one ,who has the power to move at super speed,

jump across buildings and make bullets fly around corners.

He is first contacted by Fox ( Angelina Jolie) , and taken to meet Sloane (Morgan Freeman ), aka Trinity and Morpheus

He is a last decendant of assassins who keep the world safe.

He gets trained to fight and shoot and at the end has to face the bad guy ( Mr. Smith )

Shit shit shit movie, Angie's naked walk away scene just makes her look disgusting IMHO

Has anyone seen The Blind Side?

Its ok, Bullock worthy of the oscar i suppose, but i think it was more like there was no real competition for best actress, plus it was a true story about a family helping a lad achieve the american dream, so the yanks were always going to lap that shit up.

Just got round to watching Tropic Thunder..have flu needed cheering up.. nearly threw myself out of the window...meh def one of the love or hate variety....quite liked Zoolander which is the same ilk...but this... nope didn't like it

5/10

Followed up by Book of Eli on Blu-ray..been savouring this one..but didn't quite come up to the expectations..some good setpieces but a bit cliched and pious but as usual Denzl incred. Had a little trouble swallowing he was blind although it did explain why it took him thirty years to walk across america.. watching him walk in circles for 6 months must have been great entertainment

7/10

Tangled at the weekend with the kids...might actually stay awake for this.... advanced previews from assorted people reckon its really good...

The Fighter and True Grit this week for me

Hoping the fighter is more than an underdog boxing movie, but probably isnt

True Grit I am hearing great things about

Took in The Fighter after Rectum. Briefly. Not for me at all. Stayed 30mins max.
