Has anyone seen Restrepo? Mates been bugging me to buy it and watch it but he also recommends Piranha 3D so it's not the greatest recommendation but it does look good.

Garbage year for movies, not one brilliant film imo...Shutter Island lol, turned that crunk off after 20 mins...dont know if I can bothered with Inception as it looks like a Matrix nonsenical rip off (and made by the most overrated film maker of all time Christopher Nolan)

Enjoyed - Book Of Eli, Piranha, Buried, Kick Ass, Four Lions, BREAKING BAD.

watched girl with the dragon tattoo.. thought was really excellent although took a while to get going but was all about pace... got the other 2 now..looking forward to them as well...

I like true stories so watched 127 Hours and The King's Speech this week.

127 Hours - A neat Danny Boyle flick based on the best-selling book and true story Between a Rock and a Hard Place. Adrenalin junkie Aron Ralston gets his arm trapped by a falling boulder while climbing and spends 5 days struggling to free himself. Could have been boring but great lead by James Franco and superb direction by Boyle. Some really funny moments when Ralston starts losing his faculties as death approaches. Kicks Buried into touch as a Look at the feckin predicament I find myself in movie.

The King's Speech - A slow paced costume drama type affair depicting King George VI's stammer and his relationship with speech therapist Lionel Logue. The film drags in spots but Colin Firth's performance is superb. He obviously worked hard to nail the role of speech challenged Bertie and surely a shoe in for Oscar success. Tikay would love this film on many levels if he decided to make a trip to the local picture house.

Also watched The Incredibles again this week. Forgot how good that was. Friends of mine tell me this is an excellent movie when stoned...but I wouldn't know about that.

Watched Restrepo today, not bad and worth a look. Its a documentary style film of an actual group of soldiers in Afghan...........
