Went to see One Day the other day.  If you have read, and enjoyed, the book then definitely avoid the folm as it will ruin your memories of a good film.  Pretty bad irrespective really especially Anne Hathaways Yorkshire accent.

Sunshine by Danny Boyle is on Film 4 now. Dodged this for ages, sounded crap, and I'm not a huge sci-fi fan. Was pretty overwhelmed, gorgeous effects, well-acted, tight script, pretty bloody scary. Loved it.

Watched The Perfect Host with David Hyde Pierce (brother from Seinfeld) not too shabby. Well acted, couple of decent twists defo worth a watch.

Watched Attack the Block the other day which is about an alien invasion on a South London block of flats. 7.3/10 on imdb with almost 4000 votes. I'm glad it said Action/Comedy/Sci fi. I found it pretty funny, but i'm not sure its supposed to be as funny as i thought it was.

I am a fan of Kidulthood and watched Noel Clarke's 4.3.2.1 utter bag of shit don't waste your time. 0.1/10

Watched Red State yesterday, not what i expected. Actually watching it i thought it was alright but on reflection it was a pretty standard budget thriller. 6/10

Friends with benefits, written a lot better than i expected, some decent one liners in it, Mila Kunis looks abso immense it is pretty much soft porn. Will no doubt watch again.

Watched King's Speech last week which I thought was excellent.  This week we've seen Limitless, again, great film and also The Mechanic with Jason Statham which was cheesy but certainly watchable

Warrior

Lives up to the hype, just faultless. Brilliantly acted, fight scenes amazing. Film of the year.

Any good Doogan?

See Nick Nolte is 16-1 for best supporting actor for Warrior. Amazing price on the performance alone but will he be suitable after the drink-drive thingy?

Tried that site, seems to be offering just executable files? Are these to stream the media, or just spyware?

check out Troll Hunter.... hadnt realised it was subtitled which is only slight prob but soon not noticed.... film is excellent ....blair witchy camerawork but tongue in cheek and infinitely better film.

Killer Elite also better than i thought it would be.... the allegedly true story foundation adds an extra edge.

Also Animal Kingdom from 2010 is worth a look .... gritty Oz crime/drama.
