Looper is good but has quite a flappy middle which could really have done with getting cut down - there's nothing wrong with a film if it's only 90 minutes long, you don't have to make it 2 hours long for the sake of it.

99% of films should follow this advice

I agree, loved it, but 10-20mins to long.

I watched the cabin in the woods last night. Found it really good fun, loved the fact that it mixed comedy and horror and deliberately doesnt' take itself too seriously like so many horrors seem to.
however..it's not flawlessly executed and some elements are not really fully explained/ explored, but it is really good fun and a unique take on the genre IMO. Some of it is hilarious, but I won't add any spoilers. If you haven't watched it and plan to, don't watch the full trailer first, as it reveals far more than it should.

Got a story about that film. I was in Vegas when they were filming it and they were looking for extras to be in the close up crowd scenes for the fight. Planned to go but got pissed up the night before and couldn't get out of bed in time, was a bit pissed off with myself tbh.

Off work today so thought I'd go and see skyfall. Didn't expect to see a near full house at 10.45 am on a Friday.
Thought it was pretty good actually, at least as good as the last 2 Daniel Craig one and I'm glad I saw it. There is less gadgets in this film than usual and it's slightly more old school Bond. 8/10

This one takes a bit of beating from Rocky, doesn't get much more emotional than this.
Also just love this:
I'm not one for over sentimentality especially about something like Rocky, I reckon these films had something a bit special though.

Skyfall
Great opening sequence, pretty good story, believable baddy, no gadgets as such, sexy women, sexy car, well shot., couple of comedy moments. All in all very enjoyable 007 romp.

I remember thinking this crime/gangsta film was excellent in that low key British kinda way.

The Killer Inside Me - 6.2 on IMDB, I'm leaning towards a 7. Really enjoyable and some good acting performances. Casey Affleck plays the lead role as a cop and a killer quite well. Definitely recommend it.

Killer Elite. Enjoyable action thriller starring Statham, De Niro and Owen - good action scenes and interesting story. 7/10 too I think. Actually maybe 6.5. Worth a watch.

Not a massive Bond fan but Skyfall was great, the best Bond film so far. Grew up with Roger Moore and thought he was the true Bond but Daniel Craig is without question the main man for the role.
Saw a trailer for Life of Pi which was a terrific book so looking forward to that. Lot of good films coming up actually. On the other end of the scale I watched Invictus with Matt Damon which was so horrible I cried.
