Loved Skyfall

Probably the best Bond, loved how from the moment you saw the old car it was just old style bond

Loved all the M stuff too

Life of Pi, Les Mis, The Hobbit, Reacher...could be a cracking couple of months ahead

Life of Pi was a fantastic book and the film trailer looked visually stunning

I saw Skyfall for the second time last night and it's just as good second time round. I loved the references to the old Bond movies like the reference to Live and let Die where Bond steps on the crocodiles.

Am I the only person who didn't like the 'Life of Pi' book?
It totalled failed to reach me in anyway. I've got to agree that the trailer was visually stunning though.

Skyfall - superb. 8.5/10

missed out on 9/10- due to the product placement of Heinken the 2nd time around.  In the beach hut..fine....but randomly in the bunker place decoded the laptop.....didnt like

Bond movies have always had the oddity of product placement. I've always wanted the Baddy's lair to be made by ACME.

Killer Joe

Matthew McConasomethingorother plays an assasin cop. Well acted by most of the cast. Story not original but very entertaining with an array of violence, sex, tits and fanny. What more do you want.

Not seen it yet, but your statement can only be true if there is a scene in which Bond is tied up along with a girl in a suggestive dress and an even more suggestive name (Fwupsie Sukmyov or something) and the villain explains his entire plan to them, including an allusion to one fatal weakness in the scheme. He must then leave them both in the assumption that they will die.

That box ticked, I will very much enjoy the film. Part of me wishes I were joking...

Was she sleep walking like at the start of the film? Was there a reason? Or was it one of those 'accept the ridiculous and don't ask questions' thing?
