Different story this time. Don't want to give spoilers but it is predominantly not about abduction. Just a good old action film where you can turn your brain off.

Taken 3
Not as good as the first, better than the second. Still enjoyable. Nuff said!

surely the industry can do better than 3 identical films, or 8 police academies or 6 pirates of the caribbean or 5 transformers etc?

just cash cows for a lazy studio, where people who turn up and watch it (without having to think about what they are watching) are handing over £10 each and helping ensure that taken 4 comes next?

what happens in this one?

a wife/daughter is abducted, and by the end he gets them back with 76 people killed along the way?

zzzzzzzzz

:-) (before lee chimes in to have a pop at me)

Didn't have a pop at you just said it was a little harsh....everyone is entitled to an opinion
Unless it's on a thread about terrorism in Paris.

Foxcracker is another on my list

Apparently Steve Carell gives a great different performance in it

Yes looking forward to seeing that. Didn't even recognise SC in the trailer.

Watched 'The Gambler' last night, and thought it was good, but nothing great.

Remake of a 1970s movie, of the same name.

Wahlberg is actually a pretty decent actor, which I'd never thought I would hear myself saying Cheesy

Just watching Foxcatcher now, Tighty.

Foxcatcher

Didn't know any of the background, besides the film was based on a true story, and thought it was excellent.

Very strong performances from the 3 main characters, and a shocking ending*

*for those of us that didn't read up before watching
