Hi, m8

I went to Luton to see Tikay (SKYPOKER) play but he went out early on Level 4

The GUKPT had 368 entrants so far, with another days play tomorrow

The prize money so far was £368,000

So I stayed to watch the action and chatted to a woman in black from

Badbeat.com. She was interviewing players who were well known and had gone out early. She had not spoken to Tikay, she said "Who?"

I started watching Dave Colclough's table (El Blondie) and he was joined by Mickie Werner who has been on Sky recently.

they played OK, but one short stack pushed with 5 6 and was called by 2 other players with A K and A Q.
All 3 turned over their cards before the flop and the short stack got up and started to walk away,... but the flop went 3 5 5 Q 7

so he had won with trip fives. They had to call him back to tell him he had won.

About 11.30pm Dave Colclough went all in with Ace King and after a long think was called by another player with pocket Queens.

The flop went 7 2 4 4 2 and Dave was out.queens and fours winning.

I had a nice chat with Dave and he let me take a picture of us together

As I trundled over to the far end of the room, I was lured to one particular table by an array of ooh and aahs. The recipient of these sounds was Tracey Dingdell, who, although initially locked in a classic 50-50 battle, departed in rather more gut-wrenching form. All in against A-K, she needed her pocket queens to hold on, and although a flopped ace was followed by a dramatic queen on the turn, a cruel ten hit the river to give her opponent a straight on a J-A-x-Q-T board.
