Some assorted chip counts from around the felt.

Nik Persaud - 74,000.
Ian Cox - 61,000
Steve Jelinek - 65,000
Martin Green - 32,000
Chris Moorman - 16,000
Des Jonas - 22,000
Pippa Flanders - 25,000

Pippa just played out a potentially doubling up hand. Mad Turk shoved from UTG and Pippa took a little while deciding whether to call.

"Call if you like me!" exclaimed the turkster, and Pippa showed her fondness for him by making the call with A-J.

It proved a good call as Turk could only muster the slightly behind K-Q.

"Gimme a queen!" he encouraged the dealer, but a board of 7-2-7-2 came out, leaving him sweating the river.

No K or Q on the river. In fact it was another seven. Turk was gathering his belongings before realising the full house on board meant that there was a split! Cue clapping celebrations from Mad Turk and a face like thunder from Pippa, who looked very upset this opportunity to double up had passed her by.

Rob Sherwood gone then?

You said he was on 97,000 a bit ago but I can't see him on that chip count...

In the interest of fairness, here are a few players (accompanied by piccies and chip counts) who either haven't had much of a mention this week, or have remained fairly quiet in front of the watching eyes of the update team:

Paul Rigg -- 125,000

Gary Cargill -- 126,000

Peter Arrigoni -- 110,000

Neil Bethune (I think) -- 16,000

Mateyboy -- 22,500

Double up for Panicos Ellinas on Dana's former table. All in with against Huseyin Yilmaz's , he survived a board to lap up the pot.

Simultaneously, David Seear was eliminated by Sami Yusef on a neighbouring table. He called all in with versus on a flop, but was unable to improve as the turn and river came and respectively.

As I was showcasing my expert (cough) photography skills, I spotted Andrew Bradshaw storming away from his table whilst metaphorically pulling his hair from its roots. As I approached the crime scene, I was met by a board with a in front of Andrew's stack and the before Martin Jarvis (pictured).

Fortunately, Dara O'Kearney was able to fill in the details: "Andrew raised it up with his tens preflop and received three callers. On the flop, the action checked round to the button who bet out 10,000. Martin made it 30,000, Andrew called, and the other two players ducked out of the way. It all went in on the turn"

Andrew was, of course, unable to pair the board and is now back down to 35-40,000.
