And now the Team captain
Mr. Sharplea
Hi Captain can you answer a few Questions
How long have you been playing poker ? Since October 2005
Which sites do you play on Blonde, Blue Square, Stars, Sky. Occasionally play on
Full
Tilt
and Boss
Do you play live at pubs, clubs or Casinos Anywhere I can find a decent game!
Had any big wins this year
3rd in the Stars deepstack for not much. A big win to me isn't about the money, it's whether I've played well or not, and I was really happy with the way I played in that one.
Do you play every day Yeah, I'm a poker addict!
Where did you go on holiday this year I'm hopefully going to Vegas in November...
How many miles a week do you drive No licence!
Do you prefer on line or Live I don't have a preference really, they both have their pros and cons!
Who's your favorite Poker Pro I don't have a favourite per se. I admire a lot of players, most notably Negreanu and
Roberto
Romanello
.
Ever played a Poker Pro, like Aces or Devilfish I've played
John
Kabbaj
heads-up.
Whats your favorite restaurant ,French, Italian, mongolian rat take aways, or Chinese Chinese!

Now a newbie called
Smileriraq
How long have you been playing poker ?
Dec 2004 - was in iraq one of the section brought in bagfuls of worthless iraqi coins and we had some time to kill - and one of the section taught us the rules. Have to admit if I went out there again not sure if id make 6 months with no poker. When I came back to UK all my mates were playing it
Which sites do you play on? Blonde and Ladbrokes
Do you play live at pubs, clubs or Casinos?
Occasional live play and have done well in a few casino MTT but with a young baby and a really hectic social lifereally dont have that much time to invest
Had any big wins this year.
Won a freeroll on Ladbrokes 734 runners and got £130 came 4th in a similar tournament and won £85 also won a poker player freeroll and got invited to a final SNG table but only managed to come 5th not going to change my lifestyle but its nice to be consistently making a profit. Grinded my wy to £1000 play low stakes SNG
Do you play every day.
Most days however try not to play on sunday 1) as try to respect sundays for belief reasons 2) its good to have a day away from poker 3) Allows me to have time with the family and also to watch the NFL
Where did you go on holiday this year.
Nowhere this year but with young baby not fair to drag him hundreds of miles on a plane. We did have a weekend break in west wales tho
How many miles a week do you drive less than 70
Do you prefer on line or Live
I like both but am probably better online but welcome the opportunity to test myself live
Who's your favorite Poker Pro.
Like Negranu despite he sometimes comes across as a bit snobbish over amateurs doing well in the big events. Dislike ego trippers such as hellmuth but im fairly sure thats mostly an act to keep him in the limelight
Ever played a Poker Pro, like Aces or Devilfish.
If i have i didnt know it , i dont swim in those circles, quite happy being a bottom feeder at the bottom of the ocean
Whats your favorite restaurant,French, Horse ,Crispy camal, Chinese 0r Indian.
Wifes cooking is top notch
Is there a Torchwood base in Cardiff.
My dad runs a shopping centre in Cardiff and met David Tennant apparently he was a bit of a dick (wouldnt talk to a young kid while waiting for an elevator)
Does your wife/partner play poker.
Wife plays poker but she doesnt really understand the subtlties of bluffing and pot odds etc
Can I print this on the Blonde web site No worries tho not sure who would want to read my ramblings but go for it

Hi Del back so soon,
Hi, just remembered
When I first found Blonde there seemed to be a few friends talking about poker. for some reason it was the only forum I joined, at the time (early 2005)
I was really in awe of everone on here, I thought they were all big time pros!!!!
I remember, back in early 2005, playing a $3 SnG on Tribecca, and on the table was Colchester Kev. We talked about blonde a bit, and then about his upcoming trip to Vegas. A big hand developed between me and another player that I won, and Kev said how well I played it. I was so chuffed that a big time pro like him would complement me....
....It never crossed my mind that maybe a big time pro wouldn't be bothering with a $3 SnG
Still, made my day though..
Hope you enjoy blonde as much as I have Crow
Cheers Del

Gotta ask this m8,
why are you called "ShatnerPants", hope its a star trek answer
Totally pinched from the great man, I admit.
A couple of months ago he did an interview on Chris Moyles radio show, and they were talking about products he could endorse, as a joke.
Shatnerpants were just such a brilliant idea, I want to market them.
When I say Hong, you say Kong

The "Hot-o-meter" on Sky is a piece of nonsense.
Anyone who uses it to play poker deserves to lose their cash

Now from the man who thinks he's a train
Xpressman
How long have you been playing poker ? Well it seems a lifetime but i started playing in 2002.
Which sites do you play on Ladbrokes & Poker stars
Do you play live at pubs, clubs or Casinos I play at The G Casino Luton, The Vic (London), and The Western.
Had any big wins this year Not yet , but i am sure one will come soon
Do you play every day No , but it feels like it, i have played a lot of poker since i started playing back in 2002 !
Where did you go on holiday this year South Of France
How many miles a week do you drive 200 - 250 mainly to play poker as i live near my business.
Do you prefer on line or Live
Live without a doubt, love the banter and Atmosphere and watching the players reactions in certain situations gives you a big Advantage, also met a lot of Nice people via poker, some whom have become good friends off the tables.
I do get very bored playing on line and seem to play a much looser and less disiplined compared to my live game.
Who's your favorite Poker Pro Hard one this -
But like a lot of people loved watching the Original series of Late night poker, so The Hendon Mob Players stand out especially Ram Vaswani who I think is one of the best, and Devilfish whether you love him or hate him certainly helped in putting poker on the map.
Special mention to Garry Bush who gave me a lot of good advice and improved my game.
JP Kelly a luton legend- The Guy is Awesome, Does not play much live these days but mainly on Line.
And of course Tikay !! Who has put a lot of time and effort into the game for the players and he always plays with a smile whether Winning or Losing !!
He gets Aces more times than most players as he always shows them after someone lays down - By turning the same card over twice and saying "Look Ace and a Ace" LOL LOL
Ever played a Poker Pro, like Aces or Devilfish
Both of the above at The Victoria casino in Larger Comps and many other full Time Players/Professionals.
Whats your favorite restaurant,French,Bland English ,Welsh leek Pie, Haggis meatballs, 0r Indian
Always loved Italian but do like French,Chinese, and Mexican.
Does your wife/partner play poker
Not married and do not have a Live in partner , but my Secret Mystery Lady does not play Poker !!
Can I print this on the Blonde web site
If you Must !!! Lol
Thanks, Xpressman
Thanks , good answers,gold Star
