You may have noticed Dave Nisbet's sudden change of fortunes in the last set of chip counts. That recent surge was the result of a brisk encounter with neighbour Mark Roberts, Nisbet having the best of it with As versus . As a hit the window, Nisbet couldn't help but go to turn away and sigh "I knew it," but his pivot was premature as the next card came the followed by the . A harmless turn and river and the double through was complete. Nisbet now on 104,000.

You said you played next to him. What was it about his game that impressed you? I've never come across him before.

Great updates guys as per usual.

Top quality stuff Maureen, hopefully see you doing more the same in the future.

I'd like to see Marcus take it down for no other reason than I shared a table with him in the £50 Sat night tourney at DTD when there a while back, top bloke, real gent, good luck sir.

Our 11th place finisher was Tony Salmon.

Salmon raised 20k in late position to be re-raised all in by Daniel Ward. For around 50k. With not having enough behind him to fold Tony Salmon has to call showing

v

Daniels

  three diamonds Two Diamonds

10 remain glued to thier seats.

Also changing gear to raise mode is Rolf Woods.

I saw him raise 4 out of 5 hands not to be contended and taking blinds like candy from a baby.

With just one player to fall before we hit out final table, it's Jonathan Spinks who has been suffering the most heart bypasses. Down to 30,000 after his Two Diamonds versus on an ensuing board doubled Rob Clark through, Spinks pushed all in preflop a few hands later from late position. Marcus Bebb-Jones peeked down at the on the big blind, then a and announced "call", although I expect he was calling after just seeing the one. Joy for Spinks, however, as he hit trips with on a board to stay alive and is now back up to 60,000.

We have our final table.

After a push all in from Martin Jarvis UTG for his tiny stack of 27k with

BB Terry Fletcher finds it an easy call showing A 7

The first card out is the  and it is shakey handy good gamey wp etc etc time.

All nine finalists are looking pleased with themselves and enjoying a little breather before getting down to the real business.
