Pete Wigglesworth is now out having seen his fail to out coin-flip Mark Robert's on an ensuing board. "Yes!" exclaimed Wigglesworth with a clenched first as the river was dealt. Many eyebrows were raised. "Ah, sorry, thought I'd hit straight." Eyebrows returned to their natural position.

As I joked to Marcus Bebb-Jones, you have to raise suspicions of chip passing when someone celebrates exiting the comp. Or maybe he simply had a last shorter bet with Roberts.

Either way, here's Wigglesworth's assassin amid stack reconstruction.

It's not often you witness a three-way all-in without being presented a scalp, but that's what happened when bedlam ensued on the central table with three players pushing on a flop. I didn't catch who bet when, what or how, but when push came to shove, the line-up was as follows:

James Mitchell =
Ian Lyons =
Terry Fletcher =

Turn =
River =

"Straight!" pointed Fletcher who took the pot, although I felt he should have been taxed a few thousand for mis-announcing his hand.

Jonathan Spinks has just had a BOGOF. No info on the hand in question but he managed to send David Outterside and Carolle Belfield to the nearest taxi rank, leaving him with a stack to be proud of. Counts coming soon.

During the melee, we saw the exit of blondeite 'matt50' Matt Heasman. He found himself in piping hot water with versus the of Marcus Bebb-Jones. A missed Heasman by a country mile and Bebb-Jones took both the pot and consequently the scalp. As the old saying goes, 'the rich get richer and the poor get knocked out.'

I think someone touted Richard Kellett for success earlier in the thread. Well, they're either Mystic Meg or have stolen her crystal ball as the youngster now has over 100,000 and is your current chip leader. He eliminated two players in quick succession, one of whom was onion-ring muncher Mohammed Shoahebe. Shoahebe had his tournament life on the line with queens versus A-K, but a painful river on a 6-7-4-6-A board dashed any hopes of DTD glory and sent him home. "What goes around...," Dave Nisbet later said, referring to Shoahebe's last minute double through the night prior with jacks versus kings.

Yes, although I did enter the fray late and had to pry the information from a wounded Matt Russell. Luckily, he's a gent, and was more than accommodating in reporting his demise. Russell had all his chips in the middle with in the end, and was given a spin by . The wasn't the best, and the turn and two spades river produced no miracles. "Did you have ?" I asked, trying to decipher if Evilpie held a cheeky straight flush draw. "Yeah, guess I could hit the low end. I had outs to a full house too if you think about it. I wasn't looking too bad," he joked. "In fact, I don't know how I lost. Bad beat that one."

Either way, Evilpie leaves us, but, as always, with a sporting smile.

And here is that monstrous stack of Richard Kellet, a "towering inferno" of sorts according to The Nun.
