Did everyone miss the "tin of chopped tomatoes" wtf Huh?

Was that an homage to our leader?

Right I've decided that's it's time to attempt an entry in to this amazing thread.

I'm a big breakfast fan but I don't often make them because they're a bit on the unhealthy side.

Before I start I was after a bit of advice from the experts here. I've compiled a list of what I think the fry up will require but have I missed anything?

3 x Lincolnshire sausages. Purchased from local butchers.
3 x slices of bacon. Purchased from same butcher.
Black pudding. Again from butchers. May or may not get eaten, depends how I feel on the day.
2 x hash browns.
2 x fried eggs.
1 x scrambled egg.
Fresh mushrooms. No idea how to cook these but I'll find out easy enough.
Branston baked beans.
Chopped tomatoes.
2 x buttered toast.
2 x bread and butter.
Mug of coffee.
1 x big plate

Is that everything covered or have I missed any essentials?

I'm really not sure about the black pudding but it seems to be essential from what I've read on here over the last 4 years or so. Hope I'm in the 'love it' camp.

Fried slice missed and really only need for one format of egg. Branston beans are nicer than Heinz IMO. Fry mushrooms until almst crispy, chop small and do in butter or in same pan as bacon.

Looks epic apart from that

+1 to Branston > Heinz

+Potato Bread
+Black & White Pud

-Tomatoes
- Bread & Butter

I'm not big on hash browns myself, prefer potato bread and occasionally soda too...

Looks pretty smart though and looking forward to the picture!

Is it safe to assume that you're not planning on using button mushrooms in a breakfast?

Flat mushrooms, minimum diameter 2inches. Fried in bacon fat, or butter until they soften.

Lose the tomatoes and one lot of egg.

Sausages and bacon sourced carefully is key and that gives you a head start btw

Latest ingredient list following critique from the masses:

3 x Lincolnshire sausages. Purchased from local butchers.
3 x slices of bacon. Purchased from same butcher.
Black pudding. Again from butchers. May or may not get eaten, depends how I feel on the day.
2 x hash browns.
2 x fried eggs.
Fresh mushrooms.
Branston baked beans.
1 x fried slice
2 x buttered toast.
2 x bread and butter.
Mug of coffee.
1 x big plate

Omitted from original list:

1 x scrambled egg
Chopped tomatoes

Any thoughts on the bread to be used? I'm personally a big fan of Hovis best of both thick sliced but if there are any objections I could look in to something else.

Obviously using those big flat mushrooms and frying them. Is it acceptable to chop them in to smaller pieces or must they remain as nature intended?

Tomatoes are gone. I don't like them anyway to be honest but I knew they wouldn't get the vote so put them in knowing I'd be safe.

Sausages and bacon as well as the black pudding will be from Bodsworth's award winning butchers. They'll be really tasty but have a small problem in that they won't give much fat back to the pan.

Just means I have to use quite a lot of oil which isn't a huge problem.

Think the bread has to be white.  Best of both is too much of a nod to healthy eating.  Thick is good though.
