Lacks a bit of sauce but i guess that's on the table. I prefer crispier bacon and eggs a little creamier.
nooooooo, bacon should be almost raw. i really am in a minority i think when it comes to how i want a fry up  I like bacon just-cooked as well, but like the fat crispy. anyone have any tips on how to achieve this bacon perfection? Use scissors and make snips along the fat. This increases the surface area of the fat allowing it too cook faster while the bacon cooks at it's usual speed. |

I have decided to get on the band wagon and make an attempt at a quality fry up.
In order to make the perfect breakfast I decided that I needed a perfect kitchen. I have therefore got the builders in to knock half my house down so that I can have an extended kitchen with enough space to work.
Once this is done I believe that I will have the perfect environment for making a fry up.
Unfortunately it's not going to be ready for 4 months. This does give me the advantage of seeing what I'm up against and what my oppos have done before me.
Watch this space in Feb '09.
 Kitchen fitter starts tomorrow. 6 ring gas hob ftmfw Just need 6 fyring pans and I'll be good to go. [ ] It's Feb I've just wasted 5.5 hours and 3 virtual years of my life on this thread..only to get to the end to find that as of Feb 2011 there has been NO submission by Evilpie..WTF!!!!!! I'm being generous here assuming the Feb 09 bit was a typo so I will be revisiting this thread in May 11 where I EXPECT Evilpie's submission will wipe the floor with the rest...For now, I say Claw's is the winner (though it's a fragile win I'll grant...)
