One egg is unforgivable. (and it looks like a medium sized one) Orange & mango - what the absolute fuck?

Next!

This.

WP T High for trying though, def some kudos for that.

Mondo what the utter northern feck is that. I love the special plate just for breads all laid out nicely but rofl. Don't need the mug to know you'd be tops off to eat that in a blizzard.
i don't remember seeing your effort Titty. You must be up next for a go

ha, my portion size would be the first thing to get me rimmed. That combined with the fact I just eat soups and sammiches for breakfast might get me lynched. Oh ya that and having to go to the shops AND cook is just long!

The first attempt at a full breakfast in the Thigh/Goulder/Stato/PJ household from myself (the others can't/won't cook anything, ever).

Notes:

Butter was added to the toast after the picture was taken.
Under the bread is hidden more mushrooms and bacon (sigh we don't have bigger plates).
Not a black pudding/tomato fan, nor do i really drink tea, so orange & mango was selected.

Trying to make a bit of an effort with cooking atm, but i'm pretty inexperianced.

Flame Away Smiley

Will be OK once you finish toasting the bread Smiley

Lovely, subtle rubs Mr W. Fine effort - 8.5/10.

Matt's effort.

Overall presentation.

No salt or pepper to hand.

Bread far enough away to create risk of dipping pullover in beans / egg whilst reaching for it.

No serviette / napkin to wipe greasy hands / mouth.

These are minor considerations but collectively they amount to a -0.5.

Now, moving on to the breakfast proper.

Sausages: Undercooked. Cardinal sin where mystery bags are concerned. -0.7

Eggs: Nice try, but they ether have to be over-easy or basted, otherwise you risk cold yolk or the dreaded egg-snot. -0.4

Black pudding: I've taken bigger things than that out of my eye. That being said, I don't much care for black pudding. -0.2

Mushrooms: nicely cooked but again with the small portion size. What is that, like half a mushroom tops? I could eat the lot in one fork full. -0.5

Hash browns: Sigh.. Underdone. Are you trying to save on the gas bill or something? -0.3

Plate: Way too small. It just looks adequate because of the mingy portion sizes.  -0.5

A very creditable effort with much to commend it.

Total score 6.9/10

5/10 as missing ingredients but a good early effort. The egg was cooked on too high a heat so is a consequence bubbly and i suspect slightly burnt underneath

ok so this is how we roll at Mantis Towers. All comments appreciated....

This could possibly be the best effort yet. Unfortunately we will probably never know because the pictures are crap.

Small pictures. -1

Blurred pictures -1

Ashtray & fags on table? -1

Sun -2

Total 5/10

Simply a fabulous attempt. Great plate / portion size. fantastic ingredients, lovely layout.

Unfortunately it has been spoiled by minor details.

Sun: -2

Too many carbon deposits -0.5

No butter on (or near) bread -0.5

Silly shaped empty mug -0.5.

Peculiar aluminium object in left of pictures distracting me because I can't identify it. -0.5

Refunded points because of great plates, portion sizes, and ability to cook more than one meal at once +1.2
