I would rather guide my dad into my mum than eat this.

Obvious flaws, but a solid 7/10.

No cutlery
No mug of tea, or coffee
Anaemic toast, although there is real butter so, hmmm, still not toasted
The main plate appears to be only slightly bigger than the toast plate. It’s certainly too small for that serving.
Beans and mushrooms are touching each other, since when was that acceptable?
Grilled Raw tomato.
Where are the sausages? Are they being hidden due to their <20% meat content?

I’d eat it, and if it cost less than £4 it might get 6/10 for being decent value. It’s definitely not a Seven.

No cutlery- It was there but out of shot. My bad.
No mug of tea, or coffee- See above.
Anaemic toast, although there is real butter so, hmmm, still not toasted- Agreed.
The main plate appears to be only slightly bigger than the toast plate. It’s certainly too small for that serving- Agreed
Beans and mushrooms are touching each other, since when was that acceptable?- Agreed
Grilled Raw tomato.- Agreed
Where are the sausages? Are they being hidden due to their <20% meat content?- Yes.

I’d eat it, and if it cost less than £4 it might get 6/10 for being decent value. It’s definitely not a Seven. Cost £6. I must be going soft.

All in all David, fair comment.

I do my best to be fair where breakfasts are involved.

Every now and then someone is brave enough to post a fry up and I wonder why I never did one myself. So I rummage back through the posts to look for reasons why not and find about 10 things I'd be an epic fail on including square plates!

My daughter's fry-up.

Looks OK to me but I'm biased.
