I think he's good enough to get goals in the championship,ranger seems decent but we need goals desperately in the team and harewood is the better player

Also enjoying it. The girl singing was an added bonus. Just need a Ranger goal and I'm over the moon. I know it's very early in the season but today's results have been near perfect - starting to open a little gap to 7th and een 3rd.

I don't think anyone envisioned Chris Hughton doing this good a job pre-season given his two spells as caretaker manager, but he's installed some genuine team spirit.

But he's not a good manager and let's not kid ourselves that he is

Quite right, sack him and bring back Allardyce, Keegan or Shearer.

Hughton is winning far too many games !!

Kev,i'm not saying he hasn't done an excellent job he has but he isn't a manager i can quote him as saying on motd "i'm not a manager i'm a coach" he knew he was out of his depth last season it's easy to manage a club when things are roasy and your winnning, a manger comes into his own when you go on a losing streak and confidence is low that's when you need your manager,glenn roeder was exactly the same and i'm sure you can see that Chris hughton was brought in as a defensive coach and he's ended up as manager he's enjoy the limelight and wp him

Great article;

quote

I love him because of something Robson once wrote. “What is a club in any case? Not the buildings or the directors or the people who are paid to represent it. It’s not the television contracts, get-out clauses or the marketing departments or executive boxes. It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city.”

Remain unconvinced about Harewoods ability and commitment. Something missing from our team at the moment.

You gave it a real good go in the second half, and being a forest fan, my nails are down to the knuckle.

I think Newcastle will be there at the end of the season, but you do need a consistent scorer to come to the fore.

For the record, thats one of the best 1st half performances  by Forest in a long long time.

I think we'll see at a lot of teams playing their best stuff against us when we play away from home. For whatever reason player and fans are really up for it. I thought we'd done the hard part yesterday, and just fell a minute short at the nd of the first half. I think the Smith booking 2 mins in was a pretty big deal too.
