Lovely finish from Ameobi. When the ball fell to him, you just 'expected' him to score.

So much heart and belief in this team that we look a match for most at home.

It's usually at this point we shoot ourselves in the foot somehow though.

really chuffed the way the teams playing, and tbh i really thought we'd struggle this season. can't fault them in every game we've played, Pardew has really got them playing well and for each other. obviously there's a long way to go, but before a ball was kicked this season i would of happily settled for 17th.

got to give credit where credits due, i hated Pardews arrival, but he has done a fantastic job and everyone of his signings are playing really well and look very good players considering what was spent on them.

if we finish in the top half i would consider this a very successful season, but results breeds confidence and you never know we might even keep this up and possibly make a euro spot (unlikely but possible)

tres bien, le toon

I have to say, as much as I thinks pads is a clown as far as we are concerned, no offence, but today we matched Spurs, a top 4 side, we where absolutely class, and for all 5 mins of stoppage it was us pushing, imo it was our best performance of the season, I was abs loving it. On paper we aren't a good side but 8 games played and we are unbeaten, LETS DO THISSSSSSSSS!

All season I've thought we're just running like god but today we didn't and we where a match for a top 4 side, abs buzzzzing.

Should have had a penalty too imo

Fantastic performance yesterday. Stunning.

Gutierez/Collocini wow.

Collocini is best defender in prem atm imo.

Jonas gave Modric a good game, a top 8 finish is definitely possible for newcastle, but you going to have to beat the likes of Liverpool to get any higher.

How many times in last 5 yeards have Newcastle beaten Man u, Man C, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal?
