If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or, being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise;
If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with triumph and disaster
And treat those two imposters just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with wornout tools;
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breath a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on";
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings - nor lose the common touch;
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run -
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man my son!
Ladies and Gentlemen, Newcastle United will be playing 3-5- fucking 2....
One time. (plus another three for Mid may).

As expected. We're completely blowing out our arses.
Why is Nicky Butt playing with an ancor tied round his waist? Nolan used to be able to play football for Bolton. Michael who. FML.

We haven't let you have a kick all game, but 1-0 is never enough !!
We need a second and quick.

Erm last half hour u were shitting it ffs waste of time even posting this we were shit but the last half hour we bossed the game, we are down, excellent for the premier league imo,blah de blah no divine right and all that shit obviously its better to have a club like wigan who have a half empty ground no matter how well they do or a team like villa who also have a half emtpy ground unless there top 6 and booo players like agbonlahor who is 20 an gives his all every game then have a club like newcastle in the league coz everyone outside the north east believes all the shit u read in the papers its so strange that everyone knows most of the shit in the daily rags is bs but when it comes to newcastle fans it's all 100% true

Today you played like a team who are coasting mid table with nothing to play for. The first half you had a few corners and we chased you back and you past it back to your lol keeper. Watching it live is different to watching it on t'tv, but although you improved in the 2nd half, your team's performance today simply wasn't good enough.
I will be happy if your team went down as with the correct management you are obviously a rival to my team. Of course I don't want teams like Wigan, Fulham and co in the league, but at least they fought for their survival.

I'd agree with most of that Nem but preaching on the differences between live and tv football isn't really needed to either of us two long term sufferers!! The ability for most of our team to look like they just dont give a shit really pisses me off.
I'd lump Barton and Guthrie in our CM. Martins has to play, pos give viduka a start. Even I have lost faith in MO. I really don't see the point him being in the team as one of two up top, purely to then drop into midfield and make 10 yard passes.
Taylor (Ryan) and Nolan have had no impact which shows what I know about football as I thought they were top signings for our situation in January.
I think 9 points will be enough to stay up, but god knows why anyone would believe we have more than a 25% chance of getting them from the home games.
Hull play Man U on the last day of the season, we play villa. The relative importance of those games for the opposition could be absolutely key. I'll be an arsenal fan in the CL then!
